2005 XG350L - a loaded Buick for less - 2005 Hyundai XG350
By Vistar - May 27 - 11:36 amWith a high curb weight and 200HP 6 cyc engine, this car has the mass needed for stability with plenty of go power. The XG350 suspension smooths out the bumps without totally sacrificing handling ability. Compared to my prior Volvo S70, the XG350 is much softer in turns, but much smoother and quieter at highway speed. The L trim is loaded to the max. With rebates and negotiating, you can buy this car outright for about $24K. There is nothing else to compare the XG350Ls price/feature value. If you dont care about resale (Hyundai remains unproven) and intend to drive the wheels off it, this is the perfect vehicle with the optional 10yr/100K bumper to bumper factory warranty (about $870).

Best Buy Ever! - 2002 Hyundai XG350
By Duncan - May 10 - 11:03 pmIve owned 4 Hyundais. I currently also have a 2007 Azera. I bought this one as a left over in early 2003. In 142,000 miles, Ive put $200 into it for non-maintenance repairs. The reliability has been unbelievable. All Ive replaced are tires, brakes, and the battery. And I service the tranny, cooling system and oil regularly. The last time it had a full tune up, it was still in South Korea! The body is still good (paint just starting to weather), the interior has held up fine. The electronics have been good. The cruise control occasionally goes into a funk (it wont resume properly), but its straightened itself out every time. If it died today, it would still be the best car value ever.

2nd Hyundai - 2004 Hyundai XG350
By s_boy - April 11 - 4:50 amthis has been our main vehicle for 3.5 years - we bought it new after looking at various Japanese and american cars of similar size and options. for much less money AND with over double the warranty we just grin as we drive our (now) paid off car. we have had 1 issue with the car at around 50k miles - the throttle body assembly had to be replaced which was performed under warranty with no hassles at all. had that happend on any other car that expensive part and labor would have set us back about $1300. AND, IT IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY for another 25k+ miles (ha ha!). btw, we traded in a 2002 Elantra GT (sweet car also) to upgrade to the XG - we never had a minutes probelm with the GT.

2nd Hyundai in 1 year - 1st XG350 - 2005 Hyundai XG350
By captingary - April 6 - 9:40 amHave an 04 Sonata and like it so much that with end of year pricing, rebates and owner loyalty bonus it was a steal at under $17,000 for a sharp 05 XG350. Interior is super, features are as good as the warrenty. Everyone who rides in it loves it. Even though it drinks gas the price makes up for this discontinued car. That seems to be the only drawback. But gas will come down in price?

Lexus for 1/2 the price. - 2004 Hyundai XG350
By DWright - March 29 - 10:00 amAbsolutely LOVE my XG350L. Its like a Lexus for 1/2 the price. Features galor. Beautiful inside and out. Have not encountered the transmission issue mentioned in the editors review. It does have some body roll in quick tight turns and undulates a bit when driving fast on bumpy roads, but if I wanted a more sporty ride for more enthusiatic driving, I would have bought something else. What I wanted was a luxurious, smooth riding, touring vehicle. Thats exactly what I got. Simply a great car for a great price.

Second Time, Need I say more! - 2004 Hyundai XG350
By Earnest Jones - March 11 - 10:00 amThis is my 2nd XG. I liked the performance of the XG300 and so decided to try XG350. It is best value for the money. I lived in Korea for 3 years and watched the XG come into it own since 1998. There are a lot of good cars on the market, but none can compare to the XG for value. Ive had Buicks, Pontiacs, and Oldsmobiles and the XG is far superior. Try one, youll be glad!
