  • Outstanding buy, everything is standard - 2005 Hyundai XG350

I recently purchased a XG 350 after 5 years of driving the Cadillac Catera 1999. One would think that the CTS was next on my list, but no-----. I wanted a car moderately price that gave me bang for the buck. From the quick excelleration of the DOHC V6 to the look that has been described as a Jag or a Lincoln. The XG 350 is a lot of car. The seats, the woodgrain panel, the carpet all gives me a feel of being treated well. I know potholes and spring time is New England is full of potholes, but the ride and control I have over the XG350 keeps me riding real smooth. This is truly an example of a hungry car company working hard to please.

I picked up my wife XG350L a few days ago. So far everything seems fine. We are moving from a 99 Toyota Corolla to the XG, and the XG is a much nicer car. Size, power, features, and appearance are much, much better than expected. I wasnt thrilled with the dealership, but everything worked out ok. Next years model, the TG, looks interesting, but my wife preferred the 2005. She loves the floating feel. And compared to the Corolla, this car is fit for a king. Ill do my best to check back in a few months with an update.

Excellent value for the amount of car which you receive. Drives and handles very smooth and tight. Many features found on more expensive models.

  • Nice Rental Car - 2005 Hyundai XG350

We rented this car for 4 days. No experience with Hyundais before. It fit my 67" husband very well. We thought the ergonomics were great! It was very quiet, as quiet as our Avalon. We thought it handled fine. The suspension seemed fine to us (Edmunds does not like it). We were a bit disappointed in the gas mileage. When it comes time to purchase another sedan, we will definitely give it consideration.

  • (2) Bad Xg-350 L in a month - 2004 Hyundai XG350

Bought 1st car on 1/24/04. Had severe lectrical problems. Dealer replaced car on 1/30/04. This one has been in shop 2 times for transmission shifting problems with clank & rough shift from 1st gear to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. Asked dealer to buy back and he offered us $9000 less than we had paid having put only 1400 miles on the car. Windshield wipers also real noisy. On Curse, get feeling of tip-over. Hate this car and also the way dealer has done, but guess I am stuck. My advice.Dont buy one.

the car is a stunner to look at. always gets stares and the fit and finish, but the ride is not so hot and the engine should have much more horsepower. The dealers suck and they are no help AT ALL. the car is worth the money but it is not a lexus, bmw or toyota

  • best value on the market - 2002 Hyundai XG350

This our second Hyundai with about 15 years and several new cars between Hyundai purchases. We have had her for more than 4 years, I still feel that our Hyundai XG350L is the best value on the market. We presently have 51,000 miles and will seriously consider buying another Hyundai because of our experience with our dealer, the cars reliabilty, comfort and safety features.
