You cant beat the features, quality and price. The fit and finish of both the interior and exterior are excellent. The ride is smooth and quiet. The engine is so quiet and smooth that you actually have to look at the tachometer to see if it’s running or you’ll end up trying to start it again (very embarrassing). The acceleration is smooth and powerful. I read one review here where someone was complaining about the transmission. I think it shifts flawlessly. Every time I try to describe a feature of the car the word smooth comes up. The one problem I have is getting my wife to let me drive it. We bought it for her. Only mistake I made…..

  • Still Great After 7 Years - 2003 Hyundai XG350

After 7 years with the car that was bought new, there is only ONE area of dissatisfaction. The interior overhead lamps (right and left), over the dash are extremely dim. Many trips to the dealer yielded no fix. They said that there is nothing that can be done. It has been this way since new. Next year, an Equus might be in my future.

The first time my wife drove the new car, someone stopped her and asked about her new "Mercedes". When my son and daughter-in-law saw it, they thought it was a Porsche. We bought this car because it offers the luxury we want at a moderate price, plus a great warrenty. I love the Shiftronic transmission, which is close to straight drive, while wifey prefers the auto. The 3.5 has enough "pep" with the 5 speed to climb hills and pass easily. We have only had it a week, but are really enjoying it.

I prefer this car to any sedan on the road under $50,000! I have driven many. The car has excellent acceleration, handles very well, and is comfortable, although not as soft a ride or seats as some other competitors. There is just about every bell and whistle that one can think of, including seat warmers (not really necessary here in

  • Show Me One Better, and I Will Buy It! - 2004 Hyundai XG350

I traded a 2000 Cadillac Seville on my 2004 XG350L and in comparison the Cadillac was an over-rated piece of sh*t. Prior to the Cadillac I had a Lincoln Town Car. Both cars ran and rode fine but the problem with American cars is once they turn 5 years old and exceed 100,000 miles on them not only is it time to replace them, you have no value left in them. This really burns me for what you pay for them. I went with the Hyundai for the warranty but did not figure I would be as impressed as I was because with the Lincoln and Cadillac I had grown accustomed to a certain level of luxury. Well the XG350 far surpassed my expectations to say the least.

I am a 67 year old widow whos husband retired from Ford in Dearborn, MI and was a firm believer in "Buying American". The only thing my husband would put me in is Big American Luxury cars, mainly Ford because of the employee discounts. I guess he would roll in his grave if he could see what I am driving now! When is the American Auto Manufacturers going to get it? People want to most value for their hard earned dollar. My husband used to wash, wax, change the oil, etc in our cars. Well my Hyundai dealer changes the oil in my XG350L for life for "FREE". Now how can I beat that?

I love this car! It rides so smooth and who can beat your warranty. Great price for the luxury you get.

Seeking some wheels with some upscale features I purchased an XG-350L, hoping for the best. My expectations have been exceeded -- I love the car. My chief complaint is that the mileage is only fair. On a 300 mile trip the BEST I have achieved is 31.7 mpg. Around town it is about 20 mpg. This is, however, a snappy, responsive car. Since I have as yet limited mileage on the car, only time will tell if my good luck will continue. I urge any or all to give it a good test drive.
