The 2007 Veracruz is Hyundai's latest trip uptown. Slotting above the Santa Fe in terms of price and size, this midsize crossover SUV offers a 260-horsepower V6, luxury features galore and a roomy, well-trimmed cabin.

Pros:
  • Excellent build and materials quality, long warranty, generous standard features list for price, standard third-row seating.
Cons:

  • Sure beats a van - 2007 Hyundai Veracruz

Outstanding alternative for those who want seven passenger seating without having a truck feel/drive. Its as elegant as the high priced Acura and Lexus SUVs without hitting your wallet. Very roomy for 7 passengers and the amenities and fit and finish are excellent. Very quiet, smooth ride with a V6 that has good kick on the highway.

This suv turns heads. I had a guy pull along side me and ask me about it. I had a neighbor who owns a Lexus suv tell me he really like my vehicle.

Hello, I just wanted to share with you folks my experience with my Vera-cruz limited. I now have had it over two years now and had one minor recall on it to install a better fuel filter. The car is so beautiful, I never get tired of looking at it and I have a two wheel drive and I get 24 miles per gallon, and I am amazed at the Lexus quality it has and this is my 7th Hyundai, and I will be getting the new 2009 Vera cruz with the same color and equipment as I just love this car as it has a lot of class and I can only say to you folks that buy a Hyundai and you wont regret it.. The car has the ultimate package on it and I love the 605 Watt radio and ten speakers and the dvd, wow what a car we love it

  • Im in love with my SUV! - 2007 Hyundai Veracruz

Im the previous owner of (2)Santa Fes (2001 & 2006). Fell in love with the Veracruz when I went car shopping with a friend. I love the Hyundai warranty (10 year, 10,000 miles) and the car is unbelievably comfortable, stylish and great performance. So glad that Hyundai finally has a luxury vehicle and believe me this crossover is really luxurious! I have people stop me all the time to ask about the vehicle. Ive never had that happen before. It is a pleasure to drive, a nice smooth drive and much quieter interior than my Santa Fe. It really is outstanding.

I have 70K on my vehicle and have three minor issues; a recall, and twice the throttle sensor died and I had to have it towed in. I learned that the first was a faulty program which wasnt corrected when I had it towed first time. Now they have it nailed down. As to complaints from others; I dont know how youre driving, but I get 19.9MPG mixed and 24.5Hwy. I am 63" and find the space plenty large enough, and I do some serious driving. One thing - I changed tires this winter and found the Continentals are much better in snow than the Michelins it came with. Much happier with that change of rubber. Great car love it.

  • Wow...this is a HYUNDAI !?!?!? - 2007 Hyundai Veracruz

My wife and I test drove nearly every vehicle in this class and the Veracruz wasnt even on the list until recommended by a friend. It soon became the benchmark for all others in its class. OUTSTANDING interior room, TONS of bells and whistles and safety features STANDARD (on the Limited with the Ultimate package). Peppy engine with a smooth transmission and extremely comfortable ride (on Michelin tires, no less) make this the perfect family vehicle. And, for $34K (for the FWD Limited LOADED) that included the warranty upgrade to 10-year BUMPER-TO- BUMPER coverage...aside from normal maintenance, this vehicle is stress- free to own. Thanks, Hyundai, for building such a classy vehicle.

  • If you want something different.. - 2007 Hyundai Veracruz

My husband and I just bought the 2007 Hyundai Veracuz yestterday from Somerworth Hyundai. Despike the fact that there is no incentive for this new model from Hyundai, we are able to get an excellent deal from this car dealer shop. Highly recommended to other protential hyundai buyer in New England areas. In terms of the performance and functions of this car, it does drives like a mini van without the "grand father looked of the car". The gas mileages is better then other mid-size SUV with AWD. Based on the mileage rating sheet of the Veracuz (3.6L) has better mileage than our 2003 model Hyundai Santa Fe with 4WD with 1.8L. This is a great buy for the money for different look.
