  • Tucson GLS Best Car we ever had - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON

Iris blue with black tint is the sharpest looking vehicle. The exterior and interior design is brilliant. The Tucson drives extreemly well and the handling is better than the corolla we previously had. Love the AWD that only kicks in when needed (or when you press the button to engage it full time). The bluetooth works very well and was easy to pair two phones in a minute. The dealer was willing to deal and we ended up getting two extra years of warrenty thrown in (to bring it to 7 full years). We also got a price reduction equal to the undercoating and paint protection. Plus it came with a 1200 litre gas card. The real bonus is the 0% financing for 72 months!

  • GPS System - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON

The desgin of the GPS in this car is very bad. You cant use in the daylight. It has the back-up camera but its worthless during the day. A true waste of our money for this package. Other than that we really like the car.

  • Great car. Lets hope it stays that way - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON

We bought this car almost exactly a year ago. we have almost 13,000 miles on it and no major problems. The only thing that went wrong is a screw came lose in the visor, but it was replaced under warranty. It has great power and we average 24 mpg city which is great for this size of a car. We did have an issue with the alarm going off and the electrical not working but I figured out that it was the main fuse. So just push it in and all back to normal (this only happened once so I havent bothered telling the dealer yet). I think thats what has happened to a few others. Otherwise, I love this car. It was a great deal, great ride, and GREAT looks! All around, great car!

  • Great value for the money - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON

Hi, Ive clicked over 6 thousand km in this car now, and its been nothing but good so far. I took the top of the line model and even added the front and rear guards, and side steps. Anyway, Ive listed my likes/dislikes. For the money, the car is definitely great value and well worth it. I am a happy camper!

  • super safe - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON

We bought this car in Sept. Wife drives it 50 miles round trip to work and back. Last weekend she spun out on ice, went into a field and hit a telephone pole. Her only injury was to her hand from the air bag. No one could believe she wasnt seriously hurt. The cop and insurance adjuster said she was lucky she was driving that vechicle. It probably saved her. The car is probably going to be totaled out. If so we are definately going to get another one.

  • 1 week old - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON

I have had my Tucson 1 week and I love it. However, as others have noted, the mileage is not what I expected or is reported. I am only geting 21.5 mph on the highway - granted the AC has been on high due to the high outside temps we have been having. May have to contact the dealer about it. Very comfortable especially when compared to my 2001 Forester! Am looking forward to using the heated seats in the winter, which are standard on the GLS model. Loving the blue tooth, XM satellite radio, and steering wheel controls, which are standard on the GLS I hope that it is as reliable as my Subaru was and that I am able to get the mileage up.

  • The best small SUV value in the USA - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON

We just purchased a 2011 Tucson GLS for our collegiate daughter on the heels of purchasing a 2012 Sonata for my wife. The Tucson came with a homelink mirror and a navigation system for $25 k! The Tucson is comfortable, stylish, and get tremendous highway gas mileage at 31 mpg. The SUV also has the famous 5 year/60,000 mile waranty, along with the 10 year/100,000 mile drivetrain warranty. Hyundai also has some low APR financing rates for their products. The navigation system is integrated with the Bluetooth phone system which is easy to use, and easy to call up phone numbers from your cell phone. The upgraded audio system is also a nice touch. Give a Tucson a test drive.

  • Mistake in purchasing this SUV - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON

Really wanted to love this vehicle but ultimately had to get rid of it after only 6 months! First road trip, only 3500 miles was stranded between AZ and CA. Threw a rod, had to have a new engine ordered and installed. Did I mention only 3500 miles??!! Began to notice rattles right away, gas mileage never what was advertised, brushed nickel (?)substance on steering wheel started to peel off, front fender came loose. Didnt care for the dealership in AZ as well, didnt return calls, provided inaccurate information. Not at all helpful. Definitely cannot recommend this vehicle!!! Would like to think it was not a Hyundai issue, but just got stuck with a lemon.

  • Love this SUV!!!!!! - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON

With a baby on the way I had to finally step up to the plate and buy an SUV. My funds are limited but I wanted something fun. I was at the local Hyundai dealer and saw a used 2011 Tucson. To my surprise it was a 5 speed MANUAL. Just to see I took it for a test drive. I was impressed! It was actually quite fun to drive! I ended up buying it on the spot. Mind you I have a Sentra SE-R and a Miata so Im a performance enthusiast. The looks and feel of the Tucson is great. Driving "normal" to work I average about 30 mpg. Not bad at all. (Side note: I removed the Hyundai and Tucson badges and purchased some ix35 badges from Korea and now I get LOTS of questions about the car!)
