  • Pleasantly surprised - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON

We were looking for a small or mid size SUV, it was important for us to be reliable, good looking (to help with resale value) and easy to drive/park. We started by researching and test driving the Japanese SUVs, none convinced us so we turn our attention to VW and even BMW, then we looked at Hyundai. I have to tell you the VW and Hyundai models were very comparable in overall appeal but for the price of an entry model Tiguan we ended getting a fully loaded Limited Tucson, and it has better exterior lines. After almost a year we could not be happier with our decision.

  • Wonderful vehicle - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON

I have had my 2011 Tuscon Limited for one month. I went for the totally loaded vehicle with 18" wheels. After test driving several other small SUVs, I tried out the Tuscon and fell in love immediately. The leather seats are very comfortable, and I really like the bluetooth and navi. The storage capacity is just right for me. As for the mileage, I am getting around 26-28 mpg combined. I am quite happy about this. It seems with each tank of gas I am getting a little better mpg. If I reset the mpg trip when driving on the highway, it says Im getting 33-35 mpg. If that is true, it would be great. Bottom line is, I love my Tucson more and more each day.

  • Fun to Drive - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON

Traded in our Audi Convertible because we needed more room. This is our first SUV and love it. It sits high with comfortable seats. Controls are easy to use. The dashboard looks impressive and the interior is pretty impressive as well. It doesnt look cheap at all. Our gas mileage, although only for 200 miles has been 30 miles/per/gal. Excellent. Of course thats mostly with hwy. The ride is ok, drives a little rough and you feel the bumps. But we are used to sedans. The car is worth the price and more.

  • Best value for the money on a small SUV - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON

In looks alone is the best of all small SUVs not counting SUVs that cost more than twice as much. For the price of a loaded Tucson, you can only get an entry level Tiguan or any other model. The only comparable SUV for quality and value is the KIA but t does not even come close to the good looks of the Tucson. Got my Limited, with navigation and sky roof for 26k(MSRP was 28.9k), not sure if it was the best deal but I am satisfied with the price.

  • Almost perfect if youre not expecting an MDX - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON

We have about 500 miles on our Limited 4x4 w/all the options. In many ways this car rivals our 50K Acura MDX. It has all the same options (nav bluetooth back-up camera) which we have come to appreciate in the MDX. But they are much more intuitive and easy to use in the Tucson. Where you really notice that its a 20K less expensive vehicle is in the road noise, most of which seems to be coming from the tires. This is a noisy vehicle, to the extent where its difficult to carry on a bluetooth phone conversation due to the tire noise. For 20K less Ill put up with it, though. I would buy this again, and Im glad we chose this over the very bland Honda CRV.

  • I love my Tuscon Limited - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON

Just purchased the Hyundai Tuscon and I love it. Very comfortable seats. Went to Dayton, OH and got about 26 miles per gallon. Highway noise was limited, and the ride was comfortable. Plenty of driver and passenger leg room. The controls are very easy to reach. Good pick up and go. Was able to pass with having to floor it like I did in my Saturn Vue. So far I am very pleased.

  • Great car for the money - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON

Ive had my Tucson for a couple weeks now and Im loving it. The fuel economy is pretty much exactly what it states in the window sticker (rare for a vehicle nowadays). I chose the Tucson for the looks and for the price and after one test drive I knew it was the car for me. Its comfortable, visibility is good, and comes with a lot of options standard that some auto makers do not include. I would definitely recommend this vehicle!

  • So Far So Good - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON
    By -

We just purchased a 2011 Tucson GLS in Chai Bronze. We traded a 2008 Malibu 2LT that we loved, but the warranty was out, and Hyundai offers a great one. We also needed a little more room, which the Tucson delivers. Its not a huge suv my any means, but it gives us what we need with one four year old. The interior in the GLS (Leatherette with cloth inserts)feels more high end than the leather in the Malibu. The soft touch interior surfaces are much better than the plastic in the car. With the popular equipment package, the GLS has great options. So far our bluetooth and satellite radio are great. We are getting between 26 and 31 MPG everywhere we go with only about 2200 miles (very impressive).

  • I LOVE My Tucson! - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON

I just bought my 2011 Hyundai Tucson GLS two days ago. I went to the dealer, not really looking to buy, just to test drive. I looked at the Tucson and the Sante Fe. Utimately, the final selling point on the Tucson was the EPA ratings. I traded my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee (which I really loved, but it got terrible gas mileage at 17.4 mpg combined) for the Tucson. The dealer was wonderful, and gave me top dollar for my Jeep. I walked away with a fully-loaded Tucson, and my monthly payment only went up by $15. So far, I have put about 150 miles on the Tucson, and it says I am getting 25.6 mpg combined. I am so happy considering gas mileage was my deciding factor.

  • 2011 Hyundia Limited 2WD - 2011 Hyundai TUCSON

The Limited meets my expectations and is fun to drive and use. It is comfortable and gets very decent gas mileage. Highway driving at 65 mph with some steep hills averages 29 mpg. Country driving at 45 mph averages 32 mpg. I let the cruise handle the gas instead of my big foot.
