Great, Inexpensive, Car! - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Zach - June 10 - 11:13 pmWe looked at the Toyota Rav4, GMC Envoy, and Honda Pilot, and this is the best of all of those. There are so many thoughtful features in it that Ive been discovering for the past 2 weeks. It has lighted cup holders when your head lights are on, a gasoline sensor so the air in the cabin doesnt have gas in it, and the Mp3 capibilities. The ride is a bit rough, but the leather seats comphensate for that. Getting leather at 26,400$ is a great buy! The wheels may cost a lot of money to replace though. This Santa Fe blows its older model away with better looks, better interior, and better fit and finish. (One word of caution: The limited AWD w/ 5 seats only is very rare, so look around)

Wow, Hyundai has a Winner - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By fred - May 28 - 8:00 pmnearing 700 miles in 3 weeks. Its great, surpasses my expectations. Just as a frame of reference, our other car is a 2007 Avalon Limited. The Santa Fe is very nearly as quiet!!! Santa Fe steering is quicker ratio, thus feels very nimble, fun to drive, Very easy to park. All controls intuitive. Ride is reaonably smooth, only sign. bumps register (but remember Im spoiled by the Avalon). COmpared to many other SUVs Ive riden in, the Santa Fe is genuinely most car like in ride. Drags our 2700# boat up the ramps easily, way easier than our former car. Back storage/room is very practical. We love it. Dont buy anything until youve tested a Santa Fe.

Economical SUV, a couple of drawbacks - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By rickyp - May 20 - 8:26 amThe SF has proven to be the right economical choice for a small SUV, but comes with a few surprise nuisances. We love the interior and exterior styling and feel that we are getting more features for our money. We are very happy, but I caution people on two fronts 1) we are not getting 19/24 mpg we see more like 16.5 2) The front driver seat because of the lumbar support (a late engineering addition?) pushes out at your upper back creating an uncomfortable driver seat. My suggestion is to take a good long test drive to test out the seat and fuel economy (reset the mpg gauge to see what you get how you drive). I still would have bought the Santa Fe, but would have not been surprised.

By saush - April 20 - 2:36 pmI wish the DVD controls were located somewhere else.they get kicked alot. the light interior looks nice,but is not kid-friendly.I really love my Santa Fe.The 07 is so much more luxurious than my previous 01.I like my Santa Fe better than my husbands BMW 325i. We always take my Santa Fe on roadtrips, not the BMW. I love the space, the drive, the warranty, the look & I feel smart driving it. Its a good bang for the buck! Theres only 1 Santa Fe to choose: Limited & fully loaded. i didnt like the bare bones models. Bite the bullet & spend the $32K for the top of the line Santa Fe.

Close to perfect - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By ksd - April 14 - 1:53 pmI shopped extensively for a midsize SUV. I needed three rows of seats and AWD, but wanted a compact package, decent mileage, and a modest price. I almost bought a RAV4 limited, and boy am I glad I decided to test drive a Santa Fe first! For the money, you get a LOT more space and features in the Santa Fe. I had a hard time finding a Limited with touring pkg (3 rows) and without the sunroof, but I finally did and paid $28,000 even (after rebate). So far, my only complaints are the lack of an AUX input on the stereo (for an ipod), and only adequate FM radio reception. It drives great and looks great. The map and dome lights on mine come on when the doors open, contrary to some comments below.

Little, nagging problems - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Melissa - April 12 - 2:30 pmI love the look and style of my Sante Fe, hate the poor mileage, and have had a series of different, nagging little problems (related to assembly/quality, affecting safety) that have it in the shop WAY too frequently for a new car that is supposed to rival Honda/Toyota quality! The biggest issue is that the turn signal switch stopped working reliably after about 4 months, and the dealer has not yet been able to fix the problem after 3 tries/3 months - its very dangerous to suddenly find onself unable to signal a turn/lane change, particularly in poor weather! Also, seat belt tensioners in the second row were not installed properly, and did not work at all. Fun to drive, when its working!

Love my Santa Fe - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Travers - April 7 - 11:26 amI bought the CUV this June and love the way that it drives compared to my 10 year old Dodge Durango. More zip, much better mileage, with more HP (242 vs 230). I love the XM radio feature. Good A/C chills quick, Aluminum engine warms up much quicker than my old 5.2 V8.

By Mustnvthis - April 6 - 5:23 pmAlthough I only recently purchased this vechile I absolutley LOVE IT!!!! I have no cmplaints what so ever. I went from an 05 elantra to the Santa Fe and I just cant get enough of it. Its very eye catching inside and out. Once I saw it I knew it had to be mine.

My first new car! - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Sarah - April 2 - 5:50 pmWhen my dad told me he would finally buy me a new car (I had been driving a 12 year old Mazda 929), I was ecstatic. I am somewhat of a car fanatic, so I immediately began researching for which SUV I wanted. After I went to look at the Hyundai Sante Fe, I was sold. Its exterior design appeals to both old and young alike, and the interior is the nicest of any Ive seen. Ive had this car for several months, and I absolutely love it. Its great interior/exterior designs, comfort, performance and cool extra features make it the perfect SUV for anyone. I think its just the right size, too--not too big, not too small.

Great so far - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By New2007Fe - April 1 - 11:36 pmJust purchased new 07 Fe. Love the styling, interior space, and the smooth confident power of the 3.3 V6. Handles well with little body roll. Vehicle would be perfect if not for a squeaking noise in the passenger dash area and passenger seat (both showed up at about 250 mile). Service is working with Hyundai to find repair. I would totally recommend this vehicle!!
