Overview & Reviews
The Hyundai Santa Fe has been redesigned for the 2007 model year. Compared to last year's model, the new Santa Fe is larger, safer, more powerful and more luxurious.
- Upscale interior with high-quality materials, competitive price, long warranty, many standard safety features, optional third-row seat.
- Overly firm ride on SE and Limited trims, automatic transmission sometimes slow to respond, unimpressive brakes.

Great SUV - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Benjamin J Giles - March 11 - 1:23 amI researched many different SUVs and test drove most of them. After all was said and done I selected the Hyundai Santa Fe Limited with FWD. I wanted all the options that the Santa Fe offered. I added 20" mag wheels with wide tires. I must say this is the best overall vehicle I have ever owned. It answers all my driving needs completely and I would suggest that anyone looking at a Honda, Toyota, Mazada, Kia or any SUV to strongly take a look and test drive the Fanta Fe Limited. This is, by far, the best vehicle, quality wise and safety wise that you can buy for the money you pay. I have never owned a Hyundai and never thought I would until I checked out the reviews and the vehicle itself.

bang for your buck - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By JJ - March 4 - 9:43 amI am impressed - not much out there that delivers that much value. 100K, 10yr bumper2bumper warranty upgrade is a no-brainer. The quality is convincing, the design well thought out. Plenty of room and the air-vents in the cargo area are perfect for dog owners. Low-tire pressure warning - nice touch, but the tires are not something to write home about... I hope the mpgs will come up a little as the engine settles in. Handles really well, smooth, quiet ride (which would probably improve quite a bit with better rubber). However, be prepared to sit in the dark, if you have the DVD installed - the interior light in the back does not do much for the front row - the front ones are for reading only!

6th Largest Car Manufacturer - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By RichmondVA - February 15 - 6:10 amOwned 00 Audi A4, 90 Honda Accord, 04 Jeep Liberty & 99 Ford Explorer. Santa Fe exceeds even the Accord in ownership experience so far. Accord has 251k miles and we expect the Hyundai will be kept that long as well. We have GLS w/FWD, 2.7L, A/C, Shiftronic and XM radio... hard to imagine needing more in an SUV. At 13k miles, we avg 24 MPG (40% city/60% hwy driving w/ air always on). Great suspension much like the MB ML320; decent engine torque like the BMW 2.5L inline-6; class-leading interior like 07 Audi A6. No problems so far.

This really is a great suv - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By D.B. - January 31 - 6:23 pmI have had this car less than a week, and I love it. I owned two CRVs prior to this. Even though I had confidence in the quality Honda provides, the loud interior noise was getting to me and I was tired of waiting for the "new" 2007 honda crv to find out if the cabin noise had improved. The santa fe is more of a luxury feeling car. Its smooth and quiet. I purchased the 3.3 litre with front wheel drive.

2007 Hyundai Santa Fe FWD Limited - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Collyer Burbach - January 15 - 3:56 amPurchased this vehicle two weeks ago for my wife. She and I both love it. We had a power seat switch fail within a week, but the dealership addressed it quickly. Power is good with the 3.3L. The 2.7L would not be enough. Turns tight, quiet on the road. Seats have enough adjustability to be comfortable. Good leg room in 2nd row.

Surprised - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Steve - January 5 - 12:10 pmMy wife and I were looking for an suv that was still good on gas. It was an easy search thanks to the other consumers on this site. We looked at the pilot, tribeca and highlander. I was scepical about purchasing a hyundai but was very surprised at how this car drove. I call it a car because thats exactly how it drove. Living in massachusetts the rodes are bumpy due to the winters and this car makes the potholes almost nonexistant.

2007 Santa Fe Ltd AWD - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By mike - January 2 - 5:20 amOverall I really enjoy my Santa Fe. I wanted a vehicle that was upscale, but not over the top, being a college student. I make regular long drives and the vehicle has very good room and comfort. I live in a big city and I have no difficulty getting around town either. The vehicle looks great, drives well, and costs much less than many other vehicles of similar features and quality.

2007 Hyundai Santa Fe Ltd. - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By F.J.Holstein - December 30 - 9:43 amI was leaning toward the Nissan Murano until I drove the Santa Fe Ltd. Not only was it almost $5000 less than the Murano comparably equipped, but it had less road noise and 7 passenger seating vs. 5 in the Murano with a much better warranty to boot.

Awesome Purchase - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By KM - December 15 - 12:13 pmWhen I bough my SUV i had been researching and looking for a new car for approximately 5 months. I decided I really wanted an SUV, and the newly designed Santa Fe was the first to catch my eye. My family was skeptical because everyone thought Hyundai was a not so great brand of car. They were wrong!!! With the warranty, I decided to give it a go. I have had my car for 15 months and it was an awesome purchase!! No problems whatsoever and it drives like a car, which is something I was looking for. I wasnt so sure about my beige interior either, but in my black car, it looks very classy... like myself! The only thing I would change would be to offer a sunroof package with all the models!!

Lovin my new Santa Fe - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Kevscar - November 28 - 2:46 amI have owned my new Santa Fe for just over two weeks and I love the way it drives. I am over 65" in height and find it to be very comfortable. Besides loving the new outside design, I really like the interior. The wood grain and blue lighted dash are really a nice touch.
