Best value for your money - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By happyinCA - January 14 - 2:00 amWe can only reiterate what others have said. This is an outstanding vehicle for the money, far better than even the Honda/Acura cars we have owned. Hyundai has come a long way in improving quality. We purchased the extended warranty which is not only a bargain, but cancellable (unlike most), refundable and transferable! Some wind noise (probably due to rack/crossbars) over 70mph, seats need more thought, car is about 200lb too heavy but overall an outstanding bargain. We purchased over the Net and saved sales commissions; for a GLS with ABS/TCS we paid under $20K. Nothing else can touch it and the buying experience was painless.

Works great in the snow - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By tef - December 18 - 1:10 amThis Santa Fe handles snow conditions great. I deliver papers on gravel roads and use this on snowy days. I have zero worries about getting stuck in the snow. Only once have I been stuck. I drove into a 3 foot high drift and drifted toward the roadside. I got wedged against the road bank. If you need a SUV for the winter conditions, this is it. Other than in severe conditions I prefer my V6 Camry.

Fun on Wheels - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By ferrier - November 26 - 10:00 amafter much research we decided on this vehicle and have not regreted our purchase. we bought in feb of 03 and we have had nothing but good to say about our choice, love the color (silver), love the options, everything but 4 whl drive which we didnt need so left that off. back seat is very roomy as if the front and the bun warmers are fantastic for those of us with tender backs it helps as well.

Nice but underpowered - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By nmroberto - November 26 - 10:00 amGreat value for the money. Similar equiped vehicles from other manufacturers were a couple of grand higher. Very comfortable, lots of amenitities, handles well, quiet and build quality has been excellent so far. My only gripe is the underpowered 2.7 liter engine.

Love my new Santa Fe - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Blonde mussy - November 21 - 10:00 amI recently picked up my new Santa Fe. I love the comfort and handling. Everywhere I go people stop and ask me "What is that?", "I love it", "It doesnt look like everything else out there." Those are some of the reasons that I purchased it. It has great get- up-and-go, and so far it gets the gas mileage promised. The salesman at Ganley Westside was honest and completely helpful{ Bob C.}. If you ever shopped for a new car and you are a woman youll understand that it is a real pain, as I found out after 4 LONG weeks of shopping around. It was a breath of fresh air to find an honest salesman.

GLS after 6 months - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By legomom - March 3 - 10:00 amAfter 6k running ok. Nice exterior - gets lots of looks and washes up nicely, especially bumpers. Initial acceleration is a little hesitant. Seats are somewhat hard and flat. Front interior is small for 6 ft. tall people. Back trunk has lots of room and easy access.

Good Deal - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Hyundai Buyer - March 3 - 10:00 amWhat looks like a full size SUV with interior room to match for a very low price. Well thought out features. With the extended warranty, reliability is a non-issue.

Good Vehicle for the Money - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By FRANKRS - January 14 - 2:00 amI never thought I would ever buy a Hyundai. I had never owned anything but a Ford (and one inherited Chevy). But, I couldnt pass up the price and warranty on this vehicle. Overall, we are extremely pleased with this vehicle. The ride is remarkable for an SUV. The interior is absolutely beautiful compared to other SUVs in this size range. Weve only had one minor problem after 11,000 miles (an oxygen sensor). I recommend it to anyone. (My good friend has always owned Toyotas and Hondas. However, he liked our Santa Fe so much, he purchased one.) I do recommend the 3.5 liter engine, though. The 2.7 liter is a little weak.

2003 Hyundai Santa Fe - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Review from NJ - November 6 - 2:00 amCan not beat the price for what you get. The Hyundia Santa Fe doesnt have any cheapter parts than other vehicles priced much higher. They are all using more plastic then metal now days. The Warranty is the best there is with 5 years/60,000 miles bumper to bumper and there 10 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty.

Never thought Id own an SUV - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By boltguy - November 1 - 10:00 amIf you dont need 4WD or a huge engine, youre going to love this model. The 4 cyl. with a 5 spd. is plenty, and the ride is really nice. Makes you feel like youre in a 30K machine. I paid (and I think you can too) 16K even including freight, for a package 2 with floor mats and cargo tray. It may not be the best deal, but its damn good. If youre afraid of the Hyundai name, just try one for the fun of it. Youll be afraid no longer, but you might fall in love..
