Hyundai of Escondido - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Frank1495 - March 26 - 2:00 am6000 miles and still no problems. Biggest issue is gas mileage which averages in the 19-20 mpg range. Way below the advertised economy rating.

Santa Fe - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By SJ - February 17 - 10:00 amThe Santa Fe has excllent handling and excellent acceleration. Although considered to be underpowered most rumors are based in fiction. The interior is much bigger than other SUV in its class.

I LOVE HYUNDAIS - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By ep - February 14 - 1:40 amThis is my 2nd Hyundai and I will never buy another another make of vehicle again. I have NEVER had one problem with my Santa Fe and never had a problem with the Elantra that I owned prior. The reliability cannot be matched by any american vehicle(Im sorry to say) The standard and safety features are great and so is the warranty. The SUV could be a little larger and the seats could be a little more comfortable too. I bought the automatic 4cyl. instead of the 6 cyl. because they get better gas mileage but I have noticed that sometimes it seems you really have to put the pedal to the medal to accelerate fast. But overall this is a wonderful SUV that I would recommend to anyone and everyone.

senior driver - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By winterpeg - January 16 - 2:00 amI have 8000 KL. on my S.Fe& love it, it makes my feel like I did in the 50s when I drove my MGB. Handles beautiful smooth ride, but this winter in snow & ice it proved its self. has go, had Toyota Previa AWD for 12 years pior and it would spin a lots more. I think it is because of the higher ratio for the 1st.speed & larger wheels plus it is lighter. Gas consumtion is fair, whsh the rear seats would fold flat.

My Santa Fe - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By nanday - January 6 - 10:00 amIt looks, drives and feels like a much more expensive SUV. Sound system is great. Nice, roomy cargo space with two ways to load, which I have found very useful. Would buy again.

My Santa - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By tonyprice - December 5 - 2:00 amReally enjoy the exterior styling, more curvy than most "box shaped" SUVs. Have the leather interior - very comfortable. Good all round viewing (added 2" convex mirrors onto side mirrors). Lots of storage room for average days when seats up, and for bulky days when seat(s) down. Like the ability to shut off Air Conditioning when using windshield vents 9cant do that it my Tiburon)

Outstanding - SUV - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Evergladesbear - November 29 - 10:00 amHave had the car for about a month now and it gets better every day. Great car feels and drives better than the Lexus, Honda and Toyotos that I tried. Love the car.

What a great SUV - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Michele Manzi - November 24 - 10:00 amNot only was this my first new car, but my first SUV. I never road in a SUV with such a smooth ride. You forget its a SUV because the ride feels like a car. My mother had the Jeep Liberty and hated it because of the rough ride. When she drove the Santa Fe, she feel in love. Everything about this SUV is great. The style, performance, gas miles, ride, etc. I would recemmend it to anyone.

Hyundais First Shot at SUV is a Winner - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Happy Hyundai Owner - October 22 - 2:00 amHyundai has been working hard to shed its image of self-destructing cars of the 1980s, and that hard work showing. At first, I dismissed the Hyundai Sante Fe because of my preconceived notion that "Hyundai" was synonymous with "cheap". However, after driving this car, my opinion now is that "Hyundai" is synonymous with "great value" Loaded with standard features that would cost thousands more as options on other brands, this is the "poor mans Lexus". Its well built, has a superior warranty, and its charming good looks is sure to turn heads whether on or off the pavement.
