This SUV is absolutely AWESOME!!!! - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By deethebee - July 19 - 2:00 amIm a mother of two small children, and to me(and Im sure every mom out there in America)safety comes first. I have reviewed alot of SUVs and for some reason I always came back to the Hyundai Santa Fe. I think its not only fun to drive but, I feel safe driving my little ones in it. Women look for safety, comfort, style and luxury. And this has it all. Hyundai built a great SUV....Thanks!!

Veeeeeery nice - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Richsap - May 27 - 10:00 amVery nice ride for the price. Paid about $5 under invoice when all of the optional equipment I had thrown in for free was considered. I felt I got a fair shake on this purchase. Didnt appreciate the high-pressure sales and finance techniques and questionable business ethics.

Good, small SUV - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By TerpFan - April 26 - 3:20 pmMaybe the biggest of the small SUVs. Roomy but easy to manuver. Plenty of room with the back seat folded down for carrying cargo.

So Far So Good - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By The Hud - April 19 - 2:00 amHave only had for two weeks, but so far I love my Santa Fe GLS (V6/4WD). As others reviewers have noted it could use a bit more get up and go, and a bit better gas mileage (Ive filled twice and am in the 20/21 MPG range). Other than that I love this SUV. Mine came with side running boards installed. Kinda sets it apart from others Ive seen. Great sound system - 6 speaker Monsoon Stereo with CD and Cassette. Well thought out interior with loads of pockets and storage bins. Nice touch in cargo area with the storage pockets back there. Have gotten lots of looks and had several "wow, thats nice" comments.

Bills Review - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Bills Hyundai Santa - April 14 - 10:00 amI think this is one of the best little SUVs we could have purchased. Everything is set up for the driver and passenger. Its comfortable to drive for long distances and the road noise is non-existent. I am very impressed. I will be buying another one for myself, so my wife can have hers back. I took my parents down and they also bought one.

Santa Fe - Top Performer - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By James Clarke - March 21 - 3:43 pmGreat car. No problems and assembly and finish are flawless. Gas mileage is poor and steering tends to be a bit heavy. Aside from this a great family and trip car.

My recent conversion - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Timsmitty - March 2 - 10:00 amSTAY AWAY from SAN LEANDRO HYUNDAI! WORST in the car business. LIED to me there wasnt a 3.5 liter because didnt have one on the lot. Found on Hyundai website it does exist. LIED to me about the 0% financing but had ad with me so hard to deny. Inept paperwork through mail, leaving half address, getting whole cities states wrong but having correct zip code? Turly did NOT care care once I left with vehicle. Left messages with people trying to help get paperwork sent to the correct address. NEVER got answer. Ill NEVER give them business again, dont deserve it. Sorry but true. Want to build loyalty? Start with those that sell you car to.

2003 Santa Fe LX 2.7L - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By smt - March 2 - 10:00 amVery impressive. Looked at the competetors (i.e. Sorento and Axiom) and neither of these came close. Everyone who has seen it has been in love with it. The comfort features are great. It is worthwhile to pay the extra money to get the sunroof and running boards; they complete the look.

Best economy station wagon ever !!! - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Steve K. - March 2 - 10:00 amAll of the car manufacturers have stopped making big, low priced family station wagons. Definitely buy this "SUV" without hesitation if a big station wagon is what you really need. You will not be disappointed! And dont assume that you need to upgrade to a six-cylinder engine just because all of the "professional" reviews say so. If you cant live with the base four, you probably didnt want a station wagon to begin with.

100% Referral - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
By EM - February 18 - 8:33 pmExcellent car and value overall! I reluctantly bought my 1st Hyundai based on a friends referral of the Santa Fe. Turned out to be the best and least- expensive auto I have ever owned. Now owned for 6 years without a SINGLE problem. Historically, I sold previous cars within 3-4 years because they were junk and everything would begin failing. Surprisingly, not so with my Santa Fe. I highly recommend this car and am on Edmunds looking at the new models.
