  First Hyundai. Nothing but Toyotas last 15 years. The Santa Fe had, better styling, more interior room, especially with the third row seats, and a better overall value. We got a limited loaded, including leather and sunroof and third row seating for about what we would have paid for a basic Highlander. We love the Santa Fe. Two years and 40k miles. Some issues, paint chips too easy, slight hesitation in the transmission, especially when going from reverse to drive, rt rear door weatherstrip came loose, Front interior lighting didnt come on with doors, my neighbors 08 did, dealer took care of it by adding an update which was great. 20/24 mpg. Fun to drive. Larger 3.3 is better choice.

  My driving and ownership experience are really excellent. I am the owner of Santa Fe 2000 and next year I am planning to buy new Santa Fe 2007. I have already tried it and I can only say "HUGE ADVANCE!"

  After eying crossovers for a couple of years and test driving several, the new Santa Fe caught my eye, and it was the first crossover I got excited about. Only have 1700 mi on it, but am extremely pleased with safety, performance, and styling. Getting 22.5 mpg - better than my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Good visibility, especially the big windshield. Smooth ride, good acceleration. Powerful A/C as needed here in AZ. Now my neighbor who rides to work with me wants one! If I continue to be this pleased, would do it again in a heartbeat. As others say, first thing that struck me when I climbed in was "more bang for the buck."

  Dear Sirs, I was also the owner of the previous model of Hyundai Santa Fe for 6 years without any problems, and I will say only that the new model 2007 of Santa Fe really presents the huge step forward and is completely comparable to Japanese and European SUVs. Recently it was comparably tested with Volkswagen Tuareg by Auto-Bild in Germany and both have been completely equalized. With my compliments ! Boris B from Slovenia P.S. Owing to the fact that I could not choose the right style as you do not offer the diesel motor 2.2 CDRi / 150 HP, I have signed the first one on the your list !

  I am glad we beat our hesitation to purchase the new Santa Fe. after 4mos and 8K I am extreamly happy and sattisfied. Spent two months comparing to Honda, Acura, Nissan, Toyota and dollar for dollar the Hyundai was the best choice.

  I love the way this vehicle handles on the Interstates and the gas mileage is really good. Plenty of power and very quiet with almost no wind or road noise. I have used the 3rd row seats several times and had no complaints.

  Just bought this and it looks great from the outside. The inside is pretty good and I recommend the leather seats. The dash and the interior controls are very nice looking and extremely functional. The car drives very well with the larger engine and definitely handles well in passing.

  Much quieter and better ride than 2003 Sante Fe. Many more features, bigger and more comfortable seats

  test drove rav, crv, and outlander,and decided on the rav,but was dealer shopping for best price on rav,then we saw the santa fe at new car show and did research on this suv, then decided to test drive santa fe .hands down this was best choice,as far as features,price,looks,size,plus 10year powertrain warranty,and hyundai customer service,have always been toyota and honda owners but times have changed
