Better Than... - 2006 Hyundai Elantra
By Joe - June 29 - 6:37 pmMy wife and I prviously owned a Saturn Ion. Compared to that the Hyundai Elantra is head and shoulders above that competition. With the high mileage I put on a year I needed a great warranty. You cant beat 5yr/60,000mile bumper to bumper. Weve had the car for under a year, but after 20,000 miles it still runs like new.

Good Car for the money - 2006 Hyundai Elantra
By Russ - May 29 - 8:22 amI traded in a toyota pick up for this car in an effort to save gas on my long 45 mile one way trip to work. i was very impressed with the gas mileage which is about 10mpg better than what i was getting in the truck. not exactly a luxurious car but gets you from point a to b. roomier than i thought at first glance. fits 2 adults and 2 kids comfortably. great trunk space. for only a small 4 cylinder, car has good get up and go power. i prefer driving this around town over our smooth riding mini-van.

Blush still on the rose - 2006 Hyundai Elantra
By RuralOwner - May 17 - 11:47 amIm still trying to settle in. As a Dodge Ram driver who can no longer afford the gas to commute that way, the Elantra seems a bit on the low side with no place to put my jutting elbows. But the engine is responsive enough and doesnt intrude overmuch in the cabin. Pros: the controls are intelligently layed out and work well, the ride is less harsh than most small cars, and the heater/AC take very little time to get up to speed. Cons: Im having a hard time finding a comfortable seat position, though Im sure Ill eventually get there and and intermittant rattle in the dash is distracting.

low expence car great warrenty - 2006 Hyundai Elantra
By Tim - May 15 - 1:59 pmThe Car has had a few small problems, Nothing to do wih the engin or any of the mecanics just pieces of the interior comming off,Hyundai fixes with no problems. The car needs more HP badly its very slow off the start and passing Well dont try unless you have a lot of room to get by, its only got a 138 HP engin I believe adding about 40 more HPs would help emensly not to mention it would make it a lot more fun to drive But if youre looking for a good transport vehical its great for that I have the Hatch and with the back seat down you can put a lot of stuff in this little car Ive had it 5 months now and just went in for its 7,500 mile service no big problems as of yet

VERY GOOD VEHICLE - 2006 Hyundai Elantra
By LEOFONT - March 30 - 7:29 amI have owned new Hondas (2001) Audi and Nissans and this car is just as good with riding features as the aforementioned, if not better than the Nissan and Audi.....great response on the highway, nimble handling, (better than the Honda)and fun to drive...I got 25 Mpg on my first mileage test, but the tradeoff in power is worth it... The dealership was very accommodating and so far completly satisified.... The only downside I can see is the materials are on the "Cheapie" side, and ashtray, accessories are not of the high quality standards of the Honda

My First New Car - 2006 Hyundai Elantra
By Robb - July 29 - 8:46 amSo far I am happy with my 2006 Elantra. Its my first brand new car, so that might have a lot to do with it. However, It has pep, its comfortable inside and I enjoy driving it... My husband who drives a mini van said it drives nice too. I wish it had cup holders in the back, other than that I have no complaints..
