Accent GT - 2005 Hyundai Accent
By Donald - April 2 - 9:42 amI am thoroughly enjoying my Accent GT...fun to drive, peppy, good gas mileage. Down sides - small, stuffy interior, good for single younger people. Seats are a bit stiff. Definitely not a long distance drive car. Rear with spoiler sits very high and takes away from visibilty behind the car quite a bit.

Point-a to Point-b @ ~32-34 MPG - 2005 Hyundai Accent
By Roger - March 23 - 12:47 amUnreal milage. Ive put 5,000 miles on this puppy in a few months and I average 32MPG. That is what I need when gas is expected to hit 2.50/Gal this summer. I am happy with the warranty and the low entry price.

fun car, great milage - 2005 Hyundai Accent
By tim testor - March 3 - 9:44 pm2005 GT Hatch. I do a lot of highway business driving and have seen 38.5 mpg crusing @ 75mph. Fairly quiet relaxed cruising for a econobox in this price range but a little "buzzy" in the lower gears (automatic).

Decent Wheels - 2005 Hyundai Accent
By Frank - February 19 - 3:02 pmReally wanted the Elantra GLS, but this was a decent trade-off. It is an enjoyable drive, though I havent taken an extended trip in it yet. Im hoping to get one or two in soon to see if I can get some decent mileage. That is my biggest complaint to date - barely getting over 20 mpg. Second least favorite fact - lack of lighting on the ignition switch makes it hard to find at night. Third least favorite fact - the in-curving lines on the hood do not provide a good visual clue to how straight I am parking the car. It would be nice if the foglights could be used as daytime running lights.

My little car - 2005 Hyundai Accent
By Steve Williamson - February 19 - 10:28 amI have no regrets in the purchase of my Accent. It is not a luxury car but it is economical, reliable and I enjoy driving it. I get on average 38 MPG but I have had 44 MPG. For a small car it is amazing how much you can pack inside. With it being a hatchback, the trunk storage is very spacious for the size car. The main thing I dislike about the cars interior is the fact it has no interior armrest. This model didnt come with a clock on the dash either. In order to purchase the one that fits into the dash would have cost me around $200 which I thought was ridiculous. All in all, I love my little car. It provides me cheap reliable transportation. I enjoy the drive.

Real Bargain - 2005 Hyundai Accent
By Rich - January 26 - 7:34 amBought in May of 2004 and it has been a real nice car. Even on long trips, loaded down, taking daughter to college in midwest (2,600 miles roundtrip), it performed admirably, even in the mountains.

Falling apart, but still only costs $10 to fill up - 2005 Hyundai Accent
By Karen june - January 23 - 12:49 amI bought this car just under a year ago, and since Ive had it theres always been something wrong with it. Tranny slips, all interior lights are out, a/c went out, and burns oil. Just always something wrong. If it wasnt for the gas mileage I would give it away. Paid a good price, but wasnt told how much was wrong with it. Driving it was a lot of fun before the tranny really started to slip. And a/c blew snowflakes before it went out. I hate stock radios so I have my own radio and 6x9s in it.
