Overview & Reviews
Honda brings out the high-revving, high-horsepower S2000 for 2000. The S2000's naturally aspirated inline four makes an amazing 240 horsepower, sending it to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox.
- Agile chassis, rev-happy engine, minimalist design.
- Not much low-end torque, plastic rear window.

Great Roadster Value - 2000 Honda S2000
By bhunau1 - January 13 - 2:22 pmI purchased the S2000 used from a friend. It only had 12000 miles on it. I have owned sports cars in the past. I drove a Fiat 124 Spyder and a Nissan 240Z. This car is the most fun you can have sitting down. I find myself looking for places I have to go in order to take a drive. I put the top down even when its cold because its so much darn fun. If you like a soft ride and a quiet running engine this is not your car. It roars like a lion at 5000 rpm, but so what, if you want quiet theres lots of other boring choices, but you would regret it.

So good I bought two! - 2000 Honda S2000
By A-man - July 25 - 2:00 amI went looking for a sports car in 2000. Drove the new Lexus, Audi GT and Boxter first. Then drove the S2000. Loved every second driving it. Fast, go- kart handling and dependable! I live 50% of my time in England. I went and found a 1999 Red S2000 with 1500 mis on it (little old lady thought it was too hot for her...sat in her garage). The backroads of England were made to be driven by this car. What a blast! 3 years on with two S2000s (for the price of one Porsche)and not one complaint!

SAS 2000 S2K - 2000 Honda S2000
By mrgts - February 29 - 2:00 amGreat ride and just fun to drive. This car demands to be driven, no taking you eye off the road or gearshifter. I also own an old 911 and this is the closest thing Ive found to driving it. Wish it had a little more power at the line, which I belive the 2004 2.2 liter is suppose to address. Im also in the process of upgrading the stereo speakers to produce more fullness of sound (2000 year only had door speakers which are partially blocked ny your legs).

A Humming Bird with Wheels - 2000 Honda S2000
By Robbie C - February 20 - 2:00 amThe car is great. Its fast. Its simple. Its reliable. The more I drive it, the more I appreciate it, and the more I admire Honda for building such well thought-out products. A well cared for used S2000 is a great car.

Drive It - 2000 Honda S2000
By James D. - November 15 - 2:00 amThis car broke in well at 15,000 miles. I call it "Songbird" for its sound. The more I drive it the more I like it. Do not be afraid to biy one with some miles on it. Dont listen to the naysayers just drive it.

By Luvtoact - October 23 - 2:00 amIve had my car for over a year now and still love every moment Im in it. If you want speed in a car, this is the one to buy. Plus it turns heads everywhere you go. The only problem is that everyone wants to race me. Oh, well.

Almost Perfect - 2000 Honda S2000
By MattMatt - October 12 - 2:00 amIncredible car all around for what it was made for. Looks, performance, engine sound is perfect especially with an intake, HIDs, digital dash, push- button start, good fuel economy, lets you stay in gear up to 9,000 rpms if you need to, stereo controls very nice and conveniently placed by driver, seats are nice, car feels fast no matter what speed your going and your nice and low. Cornering is superb, you can go 80mph on ramp to highway all the time and switching lanes is nice too. Braking is very responsive. In winter make sure tires have lots of tread or you will be spinning out all over the road.
