Overview & Reviews
There are no changes for the S2000 this year.
- Agile chassis, rev-happy engine, minimalist design, high level of performance for the price.
- Lack of modern features, engine short on low-end torque compared to the competition, shrill engine note at high rpm.

Fun Car, Too Many Parts Breaking - 2007 Honda S2000
By dmacinaz - May 11 - 8:20 amThis is an absolutely fun car to drive. I use it as my daily driver and it is a blast. I have taken it on several trips to the coast and to Vegas and while there may not be a whole lot of extra room in the cabin, the seats are very comfortable and make it easy to drive long distances. Thats the upside to this car. Now for the downside. I bought this car used in 2008 with 14K miles on it. I had 0 problems with it until this past year when at 55K miles the AC compressor decided to go out. $1,500 for that fix, then the clutch master cylinder went out for another $200. I hope thats the last fix for a while.

Hurting at 3 yrs. - 2007 Honda S2000
By Dee - April 14 - 7:51 pmI love my 2007 s2000...BUT now its 3yrs. old and has lots of issues. Rattles,Poor Gas Mileage,Had spark plugs change twice now and car is under warranty, but thats not included! Now its in again in less then one week and engine light keeps coming on and every time an issue! This time the engin is being taken apart. FYI Now the car is not cheap and the repairs are worst. Im looking to rid of it before it needs tires. One and only driver and not used as a racer. I bought this car from all the great reviews I read, but no longer feeling it.

Major Oversteer Problem - 2007 Honda S2000
By KW - June 16 - 1:28 pmI have lusted over the Honda S2000 ever since it arrived on the scene. I have had a 91 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce and a 96 Mazda Miata. I love my new convertible except on the freeway. Driving above 60 mph scares me and I feel like Im going to lose control of the vehicle around freeway bends. There is major fish-tailing involved and I oftentimes struggle to regain control of the vehicle if I am driving anywhere over 60 mph. In Texas, driving less than 70 mph on the freeway is a death- sentence.

Major cosmetic defect on my S2000! - 2007 Honda S2000
By ddanont - November 14 - 10:00 pmHi Everyone, I just wanted to warn you about my S2000 experience. This past weekend, I bought a brand new 2007 S2000 from a dealership in Loma Linda, CA. I took a night delivery, so I couldnt fully inspect the vehicle, particularly the interior. Over the next 2 days as I spent more time in the car, I noticed "bumps" on the dashboard. Think swells, each the size of the top of a pencil eraser. Some were larger, totaling about 10 of them. I pressed on these bumps & found voids underneath (as opposed to the usual firm sponge). I attempted a swap, but the dealership will not work with me, & the car had less than 300 miles on it. I am now stuck with a $33k car, waiting to be disassembled.
