Moved from Mercedes, but not down. - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Poughkeepsie Family - March 17 - 2:00 amWe had a 2001 Mercedes ML-320 that was plagued with problems from the very beginning. We bought the Pilot largely based on Hondas high reliability ratings. The car is well designed, handsome we feel, and a pleasure to drive. The third row seats couldnt be easier to use; this was not the case with the Mercedes third row which was too cumbersome for my wife to fold up on her own. We got it with the entertainment system. I was ambivallent about it, my wife wanted it. She won. After one three hour drive during wich the kids quietly watched a movie while we sat in the front enjoying our own separate music, Im a convert.

A vehicle to be proud of! - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Pilot 101 - March 17 - 2:00 amThe Pilot has met or exceeded all of our wants and needs. A perfect minivan replacement with 4 wheel drive. Getting a great price is stil not posible. The pilot has made it easy for my 5ft wife and me with our 1yr old daughter. The second row seat should be adjustable, seeing the seat slides on track already. This is our second Honda vehicle.

Sports Car of the 21st Century - 2003 Honda Pilot
By NormanU - March 17 - 2:00 amI traded up from my 3rd van, wanting something with a little pizazz but still utilitarian. I tried all the mid- sized SUVs, not wanting something trucky. Narrowed it down to the Highlander and Pilot but overall the Pilot is just head and shoulders above the Highlander.

Honda Pilot - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Ray Merz - March 7 - 10:00 amWe have had the Pilot for a little over a year and have taken it twice to Yellowstone, and once to Glacier and the Tetons. The ride is very comfortable, the interior is very well designed, and the steering and handling is very good. The engine power is good and works well with the 5 speed transmission. The gas mileage is very good for a SUV - we got 21-23 MPG on the road and about 17 in the city. I would recommend it to anyone.

Love my Honda Pilot - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Tammy jo - March 7 - 10:00 amIm very, very happy with my Honda Pilot. I looked at every SUV on the market to find a medium-sized SUV with a third row of seats. I also had to have leather interior and the DVD entertainment system. All of which I got without a spending 40,000+! Great gas mileage was a big bounus!!

South Texas Honda - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Al Farrell - March 7 - 10:00 amHad a 2001 Yukon and loved it. This Pilot is a better built vehicle than the Yukon. Better mileage and same comfort. I am 66".

Very happy - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Wagenmaker - March 7 - 10:00 amThe Pilot has been an excellent car for our family of 8! It handles great through the snow and ice of Michigans Upper Peninsula roads. It is very quiet, and very reliable. The gas mileable is also acceptable (especially compared with other SUVs). The price and reliability of the Pilot made it a real winner for us. The only downside: the rear spoiler was not designed well, as the plastic warps in the sunlight.

I love my Pilot - 2003 Honda Pilot
By piranha - March 7 - 10:00 amI love my Pilot and would buy another in a heartbeat. The dealership has bent over backwards to make sure that we are happy. I owned the Pilot for a week and made a 800 mile trip in 2 days, and still enjoyed driving it!
