Preferred Choice, no "buts" - 2003 Honda Pilot
By redirector - September 24 - 10:00 amThis SUV loves the freeway, the mountains, the back roads, the long trips. Makes driving and carrying a real pleasure. Around town, parking and manueverability is very good. I think some of the long list of "improvements" listed by JLarry, would drive the price to $40k or more, and add weight. Keep it simple, the vehicle is superb and safe and a great value even at MSRP.

Pilot Rview - 2003 Honda Pilot
By shibatey - September 5 - 10:00 amLove this SUV! As a former owner of a Suburban which broke down constantly, I love the reliability, handling, and styling of the Honda Pilot. Very practical car and stylish at the same time. Priced correctly by Honda, but the problem is that dealerships are adding $2000-$3000+ as the Dealer Markup because of the demand.

The BEST SUV for the EVERYDAY GUY - 2003 Honda Pilot
By PilotFan207 - August 30 - 10:00 amHad it for about 2 months now 2000 miles - no complaints. smooth engine and interior quality is good. Checked out Trailblazer and Explorer (Those 2 cant beat this SUV in any category) The styling was bland in the beginning but it is growing on me. I love the 8 passenger feature (although rear is more for 7) and lots of cargo room. Drives like my acura 3.2 TL -smooth.

Honda Hits a Homerun! - 2003 Honda Pilot
By dfernandez - August 30 - 10:00 amBelieve it or not, I traded in my 201 Mercedes C320 for the Pilot. We needed a bigger car for our expanding family and when we learned about the Pilot our search ended. My wife and I cant get enough of this SUV. It is excellent. The gas mileage we got on a trip to Illinois was 25mpg ! It rides like a car and is VERY comfortable! A great buy!

New Pilot _ No Dealing - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Vane - August 23 - 2:00 amLooked at Toyota Highlander and Honda Pilot. Went to four dealerships. All when questioned about dealing, they all pointed to the "Sticker" and that was that. The Honda had the additional third row seat that sold us on it. Plus we went to resale values on Chevy Trailblazer, Buick Redevous, and GMC Envoy. All were considerably less than Honda and Toyota. Also, a big selling point was that it is front wheel drive.

The Pilot was the right choice - 2003 Honda Pilot
By tkerber - August 18 - 2:00 amI was leaning towards the Toyota Highlander until my friend strongly urged me to take his Pilot out for few hours. I was sold on it and got one the next day for $1,000 under MSRP. Dealership was fantastic (Autofair in Manchester, NH). This is a fantastic vehicle. Smooth, quiet, powerful and a TON of room. It is very well thought out. This is my second car in 9 years. My other was a Honda with 112k miles and zero problems, so I know about Honda reliability first hand. I am completely happy with the decision to purchase it.

My first SUV and love it. - 2003 Honda Pilot
By PatrickC1026 - August 6 - 10:00 amThis is my first SUV and Im still driving my 92 Honda Prelude. Although there is no comparison with Prelude, the Pilot handling and power is awsome. Ive driven my Pilot to Mexico/San Diego, San Francisco bay area and Las Vegas and it never complained even with the full load to Mexico.

A Real Pleasure to Drive - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Justice - July 26 - 2:00 amI realized that the Pilot drove more like a Honda (car) than a truck. I was aware of the convenient placement of the gauges, and the audio, heating and cooling controls. The interior of the Pilot was - well thought out, well constructed and pleasing to the eye. The configuration of the seats and the ease of converting the rear ones to allow for more space is a definite plus. The V-6 engine does its job well on the open road Overall my Pilot has lived up to my highest expectations.
