Pilot is well rounded SUV - 2003 Honda Pilot
By 3x27 - March 19 - 10:00 amI cant say enough about the Pilot. It meets all our needs and then some. It is an urban vehicle and a traveling vehicle. It is comfortable on long drives and nimble enough for city driving. The amenities are plentiful for cost and the quality is great. There are a few minor problems with some of the Pilots out there according to other owners (mine seems to have less than others)but for a first year model, it is the least problematic than any domestic vehicle I have owned. Honda has won me over with the Pilot.

Off /road Machine - 2003 Honda Pilot
By bbnet - February 28 - 10:00 amJust did initial 600 mile test run in Mts. of Western North Carolina. Very smooth on highway, a little too much body roll in curves(used to bimmer) This is a serious off-road vehicle , It was toe to toe with a landcruiser but the Honda was much more smooth. Great fun and comfort off road. With DVD, the ultimate small family machine. For now,the havasu blue , one of the best looking vehicles on the road today.

Good but not for the markup - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Min-Hsien Wang - February 28 - 10:00 amPilot is a good car if in the MSRP. With markup range from $2,000 to $4,000, it justifies another look of MDX. A little bumpy on highway even the road is not that bad. A little crowded for a family of six.

Pretty Good - 2003 Honda Pilot
By gachar - February 23 - 10:00 amI replaced my 96 Toyota 4Runner with the Pilot EX. The interior design is pretty cool. The metallic finish makes it look smart. It rides pretty well but handling is not as great as the 4Runner since the vehicle rolls too much. Seat comfort is also not too great. But I liked the automatic AC and stereo. The fold down third row is nice too since it folds down into the floor. Climbing into the vehicle is pretty easy as compared to the 4Runner and short people do not need s side step.

New Pilot Review - 2003 Honda Pilot
By ssandra - February 10 - 2:00 amIve had my Pilot nearly 6 weeks now, and am extremely satisfied with it! I paid $1200 under MSRP at Steve Bailey in OKC--however, I would NOT have received that good a deal if I had not first asked for a quote from their internet department. If you have a pet, I highly recommend the cargo liner! I ordered one off the internet from Spreen Honda in CA and, with shipping, still paid 25%

We Love It!!! - 2003 Honda Pilot
By ralaine - February 5 - 10:00 amWe have had our Pilot for four days....I love driving it. It handles so well and is quiet inside. We entered the dealership determined to get the EX Model with cloth seats....once my husband and kids saw the Leather and DVD Player all plans were thrown aside (along with my hope of a reasonable monthly payment! :) We did get a great deal on our trade-in as well as the purchase price. The dealership was very patient with us and was very low-pressure.... I would highly recommend Tracy Honda, see Hal!

Awesome Vehicle - 2003 Honda Pilot
By stevelaura33 - February 5 - 10:00 amThe Pilot is an awesome vehicle. The ride is smooth and the vehicle is quick. It is very roomy inside, much more roominess than Explorers/Mountaineers. I highly recommend purchasing the cargo tray as an acessory. Its great to provide extra protection for the cargo area when hauling or taking stuff. I have already filled the cargo area with 40 lbs bags of topsoil, so I know the usefulness of cargo tray. I really believe that this car is a steal at 28, 29k for the Ex model. We looked at the highlander, which was smaller, more expensive and you got less for your money. I would have paid 34k for a vehicle like this.
