  Wasnt expecting my Pilot til mid October, but it arrived 10-3. Just in time for the Honda 3.9% APR, too! I reviewed this ride and compared with others in its competition and the Pilot was a winner everytime.

  We looked at all the midsize and some of the big SUVs and came very close to purchasing the Toyota Sequoia last Spring but saw a review on the Pilot and decided to drive it once just to see. We were blown away by just about everything about the Pilot. Essentially an MDX with a much better price. Eventhough we had to wait 4 months to get it after ordering, it has been everything we could have wanted in an SUV and is such a huge step up from the Dogde Grand Caravan we had for 6 years. Mileage has been decent and the comfort and roominess inside are terrific. My wife loves this SUV!

  Great vehicle; but radio/CD sound could be better. Honda Pilot speakers deliver very uneven frequency response (big dip around 500 Hz, followed by a big peak around 1 KHz, judging by my spectrum analyzer). My 96 Dodge Grand Caravan has much better sound (factory Infinity speaker system). Hondas 4WD system seems designed to help Pilot get unstuck when needed, but under most circumstances, this is a FWD vehicle (supposedly delivering better mileage).

  This is the first SUV and 3rd Honda we have owned - we stil have all 3 of them. The 93 Accord has 120,000 miles on it and still running strong. We expect the same from our new Pilot. The Pilot has excellent handling and all the convenience features we want. It provides all the comfort and peach of mind when driving on the road. I am looking forward to those family vacation trips to Lake Tahoe or Yosemite.

  I have only had my EXL for a day but I must say I love it already. Dont get discouraged by some of the reviewers reports of paying at or even above MSRP...Now there are plenty of Pilots around and you can find a great deal. I got mine at $ 75 over invoice, which is about a $3000 discount. This is what you do: Go to Honda.com and get a listing of all the dealers in your state, then go to their web pages and request "special internet pricing". I got about 20 quotes ranging from $1000 - $ 3000 under MSRP. I then took the lowest one to my local dealer and they matched it! I also locked in 3.84% financing for 60 months...What a deal! Good luck.

  This is the best riding Suv I ve driven we are soooo HAPPY with it Its so fun to drive and handles like a car Its smooth riding and very comfortable Very highly recommended :-)

  I love my Pilot. The only thing I would change is the gear shift, but you get use to where it is. Over all.. love it!
