Great, safe vehicle - 2003 Honda Pilot
By ELR - November 16 - 10:25 pmWe had our Pilot for just about 2 years and had no problems with it. It was great for: (i) driving kids in the carpool to school, (ii) taking long trips (DVD in the car may be mans greatest invention) (iii) heading up to the mountains for skiing. I was involved in an accident this past weekend and was broadsided at 55 mph. The Pilot is probably totalled, but my only injuries are bruising from the seatbelt. Since the car is probably totalled we will be getting another Pilot - It looks like it held its value beyond our expectations. Truly a great vehicle by a great company.

The Perfect SUV - 2003 Honda Pilot
By BuffaloNY - November 5 - 2:00 amThis truck is a dream come true. It rides more like a car (being a Honda Accord / Odyssey underneath w/unibody construction) than a truck. It seats five comfortably and an extra three in the way back 3rd row comfortably, but with tight legroom. Lots of great cargo space. Lots of elbow room. Great seating position, comfortable front seats. Ergonomics cant be beat. Lots of handy cubbys in which to stuff stuff.

Great vehicle - 2003 Honda Pilot
By pjro53 - October 30 - 2:00 amHonda has done a great job. I compared the Honda Pilot to the Acura MDX and the new Volvo SUV. The Honda handles nicely, lots of space, nice creature comforts, and everything works. Paid just under MSRP so prices are starting to drop slightly. Compared to the MDX the Pilot lacks the Acura Brand, the Sun Roof, the heated seats, and entertainment system. I put in the PS2. The result was a car that was $9000 less than the Acura w/o about $2500 worth of features. The Brand was not worth that to me. The shape of the MDX is smoother. The Volvo looks great but fully loaded is $4000 plus more than the MDX. Nav system is excellent. Overall a great value.

very nice surprise - 2003 Honda Pilot
By rickf0628 - October 20 - 10:00 amPilot was my third choice, but every now and then you get lucky - I did. Its a mans car. I have been stopped twice by strangers wanting an evaluation. In 31 years of driving, this is the best car I have ever bought, excluding one Mercedes.

Love that Pilot - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Cmann - October 20 - 10:00 amI drove a Mercedes ML320 for 3 years prior to getting my Honda Pilot. Without a doubt the Pilot is far superior in every aspect. Perfomance, comfort, convenience, everything...I love the Pilot.

You Can beat the Vehicle for the Price - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Joein610 - October 20 - 10:00 amWe price many SUVs and he feature.. Honda had the edge on all the categories we were looking for price, quality, safety!,4 wheel drive, etc.. For the price nothing touches the Pilot especially if you want Navigation or DVD... ask me, I Have 2 !!..I have a black Pilot with Navigation and side steps, and another Sage Brush with the entertainment system! Take a look at then Navigation its worth the extra fee, once you get Navigation you can get an aftermarket DVD System... Joe V
