  I bought my wife a Sage 2004 Pilot with the Leather heated package. She was nervous about driving it home because she was not used to an SUV, now I cant get her out of the drivers seat...she is in LOVE!! Great vehicle, smooth ride, comfortable interior, HUGE amount of cargo space Perfect for any family...great job Honda!

  This SUV is great for hauling people and freight. It is comfortable and reliable, getting 18 MPG. Ive driven 3 GMC Suburbans. They were always breaking down and had terrible gas mileage.

  i test drove lots of suv but the pilot was the best.it has better gas millege then other suvs. iam a 6ft person and i could fit in the 3rd row seat.the ridding is smoth.looks good.dont listen to honda haters. try itand youll like it

  So far so good. I bougth the Pilot on May 2004. The overall quality of the car is excellent. The leather seats and the DVD audio system and the third seat row make an excellent, confortable and greate looking car. I am looking foward to driving this SUV for the next couple of years.

  I purchased a Honda to get away from some of the problems I had encountered when driving GM vehicles. This car has been to the dealer so much it shoud be kept there!! I cant believe the high ratings this vehicle has received. Does every publication assume because it is a Honda that the quality/design is great? 1). Weld Spash- Front Strut area 2). Loud Popping noises out of rear 3). Air Bag Recall 4). Transmission Recall- Design Problem 5). Rear Differential to be replaced- Currently on Back order cant receive? Common Problem with other Pilots????

  This screams top quality. From head to toe you notice the spit and polish put into this vehicle. From the higher set roof for headroom and large windows all throughout for greater visiblity, to the incredible cornering and turning. This is a mini-van replacer for sure. Do yourself a favor and test drive this vehicle, youll thank me later. :-)

  Ive driven Hondas for 23 years and my 2004 Pilot may be the best vehicle Ive ever driven. It has lots of power, a very smooth transmission, and gives a quiet ride (not true with a lot of Hondas). Its first task was a 5,000 mile trip to the Rockies and back. It supplied both power and handling on all kinds of mountain roads, including a short trip off-road. The DVD entertainment system and back seat configuration kept the kids happy. I would recommend a Pilot to anyone looking for a reliable SUV.

  Cold Starts...Not so Good. - 2004 Honda Pilot

  I live in So Cal and park my Pilot in the driveway. If its a cold night it wont always start the next morning The engine will crank but wont turn over on the first try. It will start on the second attempt. Honda service states that this is normal for a lot of new cars today...yeah right! He gave me various reasons why he thinks this is happening, though Im pretty sure he doesnt really know. He stated that all the Pilots on his lot were tested and all had delayed starts. This is not "normal" behavior for a car with 2000 miles on it. This is my third Honda...and if Honda doesnt make this right, it will be my last.
