Leather-equipped EX models get heated seats and side mirrors as standard equipment. Honda has improved the navigation system this year with a larger database, and all models have improved walk-in accessibility to the third-row seat. All Hondas have a seatbelt reminder system added for 2004.

Wow What A Vehicle !!! - 2004 Honda Pilot
By BAMATPE - May 9 - 2:00 amHave my 04 Pilot for 5 months, absolutely love it. Comfortable ride, handling, roomy interior, and impeccable fit and finish. Researched mid-size SUVs. Nothing comes close to The Pilot. All were more pricey after adding comparable options.

honda pilot - 2004 Honda Pilot
By SadieandShelby - March 26 - 2:00 amWe love the way the Pilot drives- the steering, AWD, and acceleration are great. The interior is roomy and comfortable. Like the controls built into the steering wheel. Appreciate all the safety features, including third row seat headrests and shoulder restraints for both second and third rows. Enjoy the sound system.

Mouse Trap - 2004 Honda Pilot
By Moetime - March 25 - 4:46 pmGreat ride, pleanty of room, and comfortable. Quiet cabin for the first year, there after, cabin noise seemed to increase, especially on highways. Gas mileage is not nearly what was stated...but the fact that you do not have to change the oil as frequently is a plus. I all it "the mouse trap" because we have cought six mice in the cabin so far. The dealer claims that it happens to all cars...all models, but this is a first for me. They think that the mice are getting through the freshair duct, and other than keeping it on recirculate, there is nothing that could be done.

One Word - Great - 2004 Honda Pilot
By Gary 1. - March 16 - 10:00 amThere is a 1000% difference in going from a Nissan Quest to a Pilot. My wife and I are always competing to drive the car. It is smooth, powerful, great handling, and comfortable. The kids even love the third row (though no adult would). Excellent sound system tops it off.

Good car w/ minor flaw - 2004 Honda Pilot
By apgrl - March 16 - 10:00 amAfter dealing w/ a Ford for 3 yr, having the Pilot is a welcome relief. It is GREAT to drive- comfortable, smooth, good turning radius. The size is a bit cumbersome to park, but I expected that. Good fuel economy for a SUV. My only gripe: you hear a noise under the car from the fuel moving in the gas tank. Does not affect the cars performance or handling, but is a little irritating. Im told by Honda that this noise is a result from the fuel tank design.

Disapointed in the Honda Pilot Quality - 2004 Honda Pilot
By LanceFox - March 16 - 10:00 amIn the last 12 months I have had my Honda Pilot in to replace the rear drive unit (entire axle), rear spoiler (missing gasket and radio (broken cd button). We have always been a Honda familty but this latest round of Honda Quality has been very dissapointing. It is no wonder that Honda has slipped in thier overall consumer quality ratings (at first I did not belive this). In addition, the Navigation system has very few roads when compared to the Hertz Neverlost System (available in rental cars)and other OEM products. We are at the point where we believe that the premium we paid for the Honda name was not worth it when compared to other vehicles.
