Since its launch for the 2003 model year, the Honda Pilot has helped shape the market for crossover SUVs with three rows of seating. Offering V6 power, respectable fuel economy, a comfortable ride, plenty of interior space and seven-to-eight-passenger seating, the Pilot is exactly the kind of vehicle that appeals to growing families who are leery of traditional minivans. Choosing a Pilot is straightforward, as Honda packages equipment in a few basic trim levels rather than offering countless options. Regardless of the year, all Honda Pilots give you three useful rows of seating and lots of storage slots, though early models are smaller and aren't quite as accommodating for teenagers in the third row. Cargo capacity has also increased over the years.

Great choice - 2006 Honda Pilot

We decided on the Pilot for the room, safety features, and great lease deal. She loves it so much, that she wont let me drive it. The Pilot is very comfy and gets good gas mileage with the VCM. That is when the engine goes from 6 cylinders to 3 during light cruising. I have seen reviews about a vibration. I also have encountered this but not randomly like others have said. I find the vibration comes when there is some weight in the back and both the front and back A/C are running. I would highly recommend the Pilot to anyone who needs room and good mpg

Almost perfect - 2004 Honda Pilot
By Happypilot - August 30 - 2:00 amI just love this SUV! Drive is smoooth and quiet, lots of power, lots of room. View is great, there is a lot of windshield. Gas mileage isnt wonderful, but I knew it wouldnt be when I bought an SUV, so cant complain. Drove in a freezing rain/snow mix recently, very well behaved, good traction and braking.

By sbs4536 - August 30 - 2:00 amfront passenger seat uncomfortable, needs more options not enough leg room. Center console is nice size for other SUV this size. 3rd row seat thankfully are not used everyday would be a pain and not much room. Paint job is very CHEAP chips easily!!!!

Love Hondas - 2004 Honda Pilot

I always said when Honda made a Mid- size SUV, Id be all over it. They made one and I bought it. Im very happy with the car and feel secure and safe when driving alone or with my family of 5.
