Overview & Reviews
Since its launch for the 2003 model year, the Honda Pilot has helped shape the market for crossover SUVs with three rows of seating. Offering V6 power, respectable fuel economy, a comfortable ride, plenty of interior space and seven-to-eight-passenger seating, the Pilot is exactly the kind of vehicle that appeals to growing families who are leery of traditional minivans. Other crossover SUVs might be sportier to drive or more stylish on the inside, but Honda's three-row crossover appeals to your practical side and packs in a lot of functionality.
Choosing a Pilot is straightforward, as Honda packages equipment in a few basic trim levels rather than offering countless options. Regardless of the year, all Honda Pilots give you three useful rows of seating and lots of storage slots, though early models are smaller and aren't quite as accommodating for teenagers in the third row. Cargo capacity has also increased over the years.

Do All Transporter - 2012 Honda Pilot
By Tom R - February 27 - 3:38 pmI needed a vehicle that comfortably holds 6, can tow a trailer, got 20+ MPG, serves as my office, good for customers - to ride in and does not give wrong impression (I.e., not too nice for a salesman), completely reliable, can haul some equipment around easily, super comfortable for long road trips and looks fantastic. Answer: Honda Pilot.

Finally the per fect SUV - 2004 Honda Pilot
By KViau - February 18 - 10:00 amOver the past few months, I have test driven many mid size SUVs, done much internet research and convinced my "Chevy man " husband to actually consider a Honda. Once we test drove the Honda Pilot, we were hooked. Its heads and shoulders above all other comparably priced SUVs! It has a wonderful ride, superior handling and an interior designed to be attractive and functional as well as comfortable and exceptionally roomy! Everything exudes quality. I am very happy to have finally found what I consider to be the perfect SUV for me. Gas mileage isnt bad for a mid sized SUV. I love my Honda Pilot!

Very Nice - 2004 Honda Pilot
By JDJ02 - February 18 - 10:00 amBetter interior quality than even pricey SUVs like the BMW X3, better overall quality in every department than direct competitors like the Ford Explorer. The engine isnt the most powerful or the smoothest on the market, but it is adequate for city and freeway driving.

BEST SUV OUT THERE!! - 2004 Honda Pilot
By JC4Christa - February 11 - 10:00 amI love the car-like drive. The turn radius is excellent. Well layed-out dash board. The A/C is great, especially since I live in the desert with 100+ temps! Havent had the opportunity to try out the towing package, but I cant wait.

Car lovers SUV! - 2003 Honda Pilot
By BKiser - February 9 - 2:00 amNeeded a larger vehicle for a growing family. Test drove EVERY midsize SUV out there. Some were too small- RX300, Highlander, Pathfinder. Others were still too much truck- 4Runner, Trailblazer, Explorer. Pilot is the PERFECT size. Not cheap, but still a good value at sticker. DVD player is great!

Happy Pilot Owner - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Llerenas - January 29 - 10:00 amLove my Pilot! Did extensive research before deciding to buy, got internet quotes easily on the exact options we wanted and went with best deal - no hassle. Had to wait 6 weeks for delivery, but got $2500 under MSRP. Needed something big enough to seat more than our family of 5, but didnt want a big Expedition or Sequoia. I love that it has so much room inside but is not a huge truck. Easy to drive and handles great. I drive everwhere, hubby sits in the passenger seat! Kids love the rear DVD/wireless headphones. There is nothing else out there that has everything we were looking for, along with comfort, convenience, quality and price.

Performance and Comfort - 2003 Honda Pilot
By korydan - January 29 - 10:00 amIve been driving over six months and all my family are very happy about performance, size, ride, handling. However, night time driving is not a fun at all due to very weak headlight. This headlight should be improved right away.
