2003 Pilot - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Tapgbr - May 14 - 10:00 amI "bribed" my wife to drive all the usual suspects (Explorer, Expedition, Durango, Highlander, Tahoe, TrailBlazer, Ascender, Envoy, Mountineer) when she declared she was ready to replace her full sized van. The Pilot just felt right. Plenty of power, loads of features, quality materials inside. Got the EX with leather for 2K less than MSRP. Nothing but great so far.

Honda Pilot 2003 - 2003 Honda Pilot
By 555 - May 14 - 10:00 amHonda Pilot is one of the best SUVs out there. It handles just like a car and doesnt suck up too much gas. The ride is excellent. The interior design of the Pilot may look plain but it is something that I would sacrifice for its great overall performance.

Great in a Blizzard - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Gunnar - May 14 - 2:00 amThe Pilot performed exceptionally well during the Denver Blizzard of March 2003. I had no trouble driving through 18 inches of unplowed snow in my neighborhood. I pulled 4 of my neighbors from the main streets through the subdivision streets using a tow strap. I pulled a subaru 4 wheel drive, a lexus 4 series, a buick late model, and a honda civic to their homes. The owner of the buick said they should have done a commercial for the Honda Pilot becasue he could not believe how well it operated in the blizzard snows we received. I have a stock EX. I could not be happier with my Pilot.

Love my PILOT! - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Britt - May 9 - 8:22 pmThis was the best car purchase Ive yet made. Its fun, and practical. The Honda Pilot has enough room for my family of five with plenty of cargo space as well. I highly recommend this vehicle to someone who is looking to "upsize".

Yes, we love it! - 2003 Honda Pilot
By renoel - April 19 - 10:00 amWe have owned it less than a week and are headed out for our first real trip today. I love the ride, the visibility, the many interior features, the power, and the handling. I find it very comfortable. My kids love the rear climate control, the entertainment system, and the view from the back seats.

Best SUV for the Money Anywhere! - 2003 Honda Pilot
By kellnron - April 14 - 10:00 amWe took a beating by trading a 2001 Subaru H6 Outback LL Bean edition to buy this model and I still dont regret it. The transmission is smooth as silk (unlike the Subaru). It rides on the highway very smoothly & quietly (I dont miss the crossbar wine of the Subaru). It has plent of cargo space for anything and the 7-passenger seating is great. Everyone in my family wants one after they have driven it. Honda hit the nail right on the head with this one, its a great value.

Well worth the buy! - 2003 Honda Pilot
By akschaf - April 14 - 10:00 amI just took delivery of my new pilot on Monday 10/07/02. What a vehicle! I just took it on a 292 mile road trip and would you believe I received 23.8 miles per gallon with speeds between 60-70 mph. we only used 12.2 gallons of gas. Honda has done a great job on this vehicle. Very very comfortable. We are a former 1996 Honda EX Passport owner. This was a good vehicle, very few problems, we bought it certified with 15,000 miles on it. During ownership we put approx 60,000 miles on it. There is no comparison with the Honda pilot. We are truely pleased with our decision to buy the Pilot.

Initial Quality Slip - 2003 Honda Pilot
By David R. Chang - March 8 - 2:00 amIve bought many Honda products in the past 27 years because of the excellent quality. However, this Pilot EX-L came with 2 defects, the unbalanced Goodyear Integrity Tires caused steering wheel vibrated and the 5-10 second ignition strat in the cold winter (Vancouver, BC, Canada; inside my garage with temp around zero degree C). The vibration problem is improved after dealer trip, now still some inconsistent vibrations during 120 km and up. The dealer promise to replace the iginition problem after Honda come with new improved designs in 2004. Overall, Honda Pilot is a good SUV fitting our family life with reasonable price. I like it very much!
