Great SUV - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Chief - July 24 - 3:08 pmI have never been happier with any auto purchase, than with the Pilot. Its just awesome, loads of room, and extremely reliable. In the 3 years I have owned it, I have only serviced it 5 times (every 7,500 miles). The only thing that would ever make me get a different vehicle, would be if they made the Pilot with some kind of hybrid engine.

Not what I expected - 2003 Honda Pilot
By neverownedHonda - July 13 - 10:00 amMy wife and I just finished reviewing / test driving just about everything that you would look at when comparing mid- sized SUVs before deciding on either the Pilot or the Highlander. The Highlander outhandled the Pilot by a slight margin, but where the Highlander failed miserably (driver visibility, ergonomics, seating comfort, styling (God-awefull cheap looking fake wood in the Limitted model)), the Pilot excelled. And with performance margins virtually unnoticable between the two, its an easy choice to go with the Pilots great interior vs. the Highlanders cheap Vitara-esque interior and comfort.

Cant Go Wrong with a Pilot! - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Coleen - July 12 - 11:19 amI purchased my Pilot in Jan of 2006, and its the best decision Ive made. Prior to purchasing, I researched every SUV out there, and test drove a few. This vehicle drives and rides like a luxury car! It doesnt feel like youre driving an 8-passenger vehicle, has more than sufficient power, very roomy in front and middle rows for large adults, great cargo space, and looks quite stylish. I have the EX-L model loaded with everything. Kids LOVE the DVD player. I love that they can listen with wireless headphones and I can play my CD or Radio! Leather seats remain beautiful and are easy to clean up! Not a single hint of mechanical problems! Drives great--everyday!

Honda Pilot - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Duley - June 26 - 10:00 amThis is the 4th Honda that I have purchased and it did not disappoint. The ride is the best that I have experienced in a SUV. It is quite and smooth and quick to respond as far as acceleration and turning. The only negative I have found was the fuel economy. Its not bad for an SUV but not quite what I expected from Honda. I average about 17 in city driving and 22 on the road. A similar type of engin in my friends Acura gets 32 on the road. Overall I very satisfied.

Gotta Love this Honda... - 2003 Honda Pilot
By CH1997 - June 26 - 10:00 amI love driving this vehicle. We traded up to get additional seating and storage capacity. We are extemely happy we made the jump to this new model. Anyone who has driven a Honda will be instantly familiar and comfortable with the controls and the handling of this vehicle.

My fun Car - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Tony Duckett - June 20 - 10:00 amThis Suv turns on dime, it drives as a car. The sound system is nice. Ilove the whole design of this SUV. For the price Hoda Is going to make a killing. The only bad thing is that I wish it got better gas mileage in the city. Other than that this is a good buy......

Love My Pilot - 2003 Honda Pilot
By bradyfan - June 9 - 2:00 amMpg is 15 around town. When back windows are down and the front arent, there is a helicopter sound that almost blows out your eardrums. Got a recall on front airbags (blow out too fast on impact) but dealer couldnt fix problem without new tools to be sent from manufacturer. Has been driven in tons of snow but still have yet to use 4wd. Love interior space in Pilot vs. other mid-size SUVs. 3rd row seat works for 13 yr old who wants her own space. Added after-market DVD player for 1/2 the price, but got Honda run. boards, cross bars, wheel locks. $500 discount from intial contact w/dealer by internet.

Pilot review of trip to Vegas - 2003 Honda Pilot
By PALJB - June 1 - 10:00 amLooking for 2 years then this came out, bought it over Highlander. So much more roomy, 5 of us to Las Vegas with luggage, cooler etc., tons of cargo area, was able to see in rear view mirror too. Air is soooo cold, love the center console. Took 7 large basketball players for three days to games, no complaints, even in third row, there feet were squished but they had no problems. Got so many looks when picked up at valet at hotels, people pointing on street, it was great. I love the white and cloth seats, after leather it really is more comfy and cool. My son loves the subwoofer.

thank goodness for honda - 2003 Honda Pilot
By ckrich - May 26 - 10:00 amWhat a nice surprise after two Jeeps---I am hoping the reliability will compare to the two Hondas I had before the Jeeps, especially my 99. That was a very bad experience!
