Overview & Reviews
Since its launch for the 2003 model year, the Honda Pilot has helped shape the market for crossover SUVs with three rows of seating. Offering V6 power, respectable fuel economy, a comfortable ride, plenty of interior space and seven-to-eight-passenger seating, the Pilot is exactly the kind of vehicle that appeals to growing families who are leery of traditional minivans. Other crossover SUVs might be sportier to drive or more stylish on the inside, but Honda's three-row crossover appeals to your practical side and packs in a lot of functionality.
Choosing a Pilot is straightforward, as Honda packages equipment in a few basic trim levels rather than offering countless options. Regardless of the year, all Honda Pilots give you three useful rows of seating and lots of storage slots, though early models are smaller and aren't quite as accommodating for teenagers in the third row. Cargo capacity has also increased over the years.

By happyWithIt - June 6 - 2:00 amWhat a cool car. I wanted a 3 row of seat mid-size SUV and I chose this after looking at the Ford and GM vehicles. Love the cool interior and the smooth ride and the great fuel economy

Pilot Passion! - 2017 Honda Pilot
By Vicki T. - June 4 - 2:39 amThis is my 2nd Pilot. Had 2005 (bought Dec.04, 174K mi.) so it was a no brainer to purchase another Pilot. Ive driven several mid-size SUVs; Buick, Nissan Rogue, Jeep, etc., and found myself not considering anything but a Honda; its sleek, stylish from boxy style of years past. Im still reading my owners manual & learning what this mid-priced model is equipped with!

Youll Love It!!! - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Ann V. - June 1 - 2:00 amI never thought how much Id love this SUV. This is the 1st SUV Ive ever owned and I think its spoiled me for all others in its class. I originally was considering the Lexus RX300 and the Toyota Highlander. But I think overall the Pilot offers the best value and performance. This is a definite must see before making your buying decision.

great new car - 2006 Honda Pilot
By Flyboy - May 24 - 3:06 pmWe traded our surburban for a black/grey leather pilot w/ nav. The fit and finish of the car is excellent. The seats are very comfortable. The controls are well placed but I would have liked to see the turn signal lever 1 or 2 inches lower. The nav system is excellent. Better then in my plane. The voice activation works well and with a little practice the key phrases will become intuitive. The stereo is excellent, and far superior to the surburban. The ride is very comfortable and there is not much wind noise from the sunroof. We ordered the crossbars and running boards which are black and go well with the exterior. The dealer was A+ and delivered the car in impeccable condition.

Pilot - 2003 Honda Pilot
By bnorrismail - May 20 - 10:00 amWe were initially apprehensive about buying a new model but figured, hey, its a Honda. We have been surprised with the comfort, tightness, and agility of this model. The navigation system is great! No more looking at maps while trying to drive, just plug in the destination address and let do the thinking. No reason to spend over 40k on an SUV- the Honda has it all.
