Great Vehicle - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Robert Rodden - October 15 - 10:00 amI tested every SUV in its class (Highlander, 4 Runner, Envoy, Rendevous) and the Pilot was the superior value. It is a great vehicle. Everyone that rides in it comments on how smooth and comfortable it is.

Absolutely the Best! - 2003 Honda Pilot
By teacherkennedy - October 9 - 10:00 amThe Honda Pilot combines the driving luxury of an Accord and the convenience of an SUV. As a past Honda owner, my expectations were high. The Pilot exceeded all of my expectations. I highly recommend this vehicle!

Whats up with the gas mileage? - 2003 Honda Pilot
By pjk23 - October 9 - 10:00 amOverall, a great vehicle. Ive owned 4 hondas in a row. I havent had one complaint...until now. We were expecting the estimated 17/22 gas mileage when purchasing the Pilot. Weve been driving it now for 4 months and weve only been managing 14/19. My wife mainly drives the vehicle...and shes not a lead foot by any means. Im going to call the dealership to see if any adjustments can be made. Other than that, an incredible vehicle. Honda did a great job putting this one together.

The Ultimate *Suburban* Utility Vehicle - 2003 Honda Pilot
By sanesmith - September 25 - 10:00 amOwned for about 1 week now - 500 miles. Paid MSRP plus no choice options I negotiated to my satisfaction, bringing cost to 35K w/o tax. Kids love it - the DVD player is fabulous and well thought out w/ dual zone audio and wireless headphones. The seat/storage configuration flexiblity and ease of use make this a monster of a family SUV. For moving humans, groceries, and all stuff of life, this is the best Suburban Utility Vehicle now available IMHO.

Great Vehicle - 2003 Honda Pilot
By cartalk35 - September 20 - 10:00 amPurchased EX-L with DVD with no hassles from dealer. Currently have 1700 miles. The car drives great and is very comfortable. I previously owned a 96 Grand Cherokee for three years. The Jeep was in the shop every month for repairs. Although we enjoyed having sitting up higher while driving, but did not enjoy the Grand Cherokees ride. The Honda is so superior to the Grand Cherokee in every way. We looked at about every large and midsized SUV over 12 months before we selected the Pilot. I highly recommend this car even if you must wait a month or two.

First SUV - 2003 Honda Pilot
By crogers96 - September 20 - 10:00 amI have been a Camry/Accord driver for 12 years.I have always liked the view from an SUV but not the drive.I started checking out the Highlander about a year ago and liked it but all were $35K! My son starting telling me about the Pilot last winter before it was on the market. As soon as I drove it I knew this was the SUV for me!It drives great and gives me the features I want without feeling like Im driving a truck-which I think women are looking for.I know the fuel economy I had with Camry/Accords is gone, but its worth the tradeoff!Im counting on Honda reliability and longevity as I hate car shopping!

Stop Reading and Go Get One - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Catman2050 - September 20 - 10:00 amBy the time I concluded my test drive, I was sold. The Pilot is nothing special to look at from the outside (it looks like a bigger CRV). However, you shouldnt make *relationship* decisions based on utside features alone...instead, its the inside that matters. The inside of the Pilot is awesome. When I say inside, I mean the engine, the drive, the interior styling, etc. You want a SUV that drives like a car and can flat out move...you owe it to yourself to try a Pilot. I have now taken a few trips in the Pilot and I remain 100% satisfied in my decision to buy the Pilot over other SUVs.

Great SUV . . . I think - 2003 Honda Pilot
By EdHan - August 28 - 10:00 amIts a good looking SUV. Not fancy in anyway, some may even say bland - but the look will grow on you. The ride is dependable and smooth. Fuel economy is not that great but then again this is much bigger than my old Maxima so its only logical. Its not quick or nimble on its feet but handling is smooth. Check out honda-pilot.org for more info.

Brilliantly Designed & Built - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Sardar - August 14 - 10:00 amThe Pilot borrows from both the Odyssey & MDX and adds a touch of its own. There is plenty of room for 8, & the detailed finishing and features for the interior are truely well thought out. It has a quiet interior and the view from around the cabin is excellent. Its going to be an excellent road cruiser and versatility of the seat configurations allows even tall passengers to be comfortable on long journey - you can always fold the one or both of the middle row seats for the extra leg room...there is even reclining middle row seats! The power is more than adequate and the fuel economy is excellent for the size. The best thing is that 85/86 octane can be used!
