Since its launch for the 2003 model year, the Honda Pilot has helped shape the market for crossover SUVs with three rows of seating. Offering V6 power, respectable fuel economy, a comfortable ride, plenty of interior space and seven-to-eight-passenger seating, the Pilot is exactly the kind of vehicle that appeals to growing families who are leery of traditional minivans. Other crossover SUVs might be sportier to drive or more stylish on the inside, but Honda's three-row crossover appeals to your practical side and packs in a lot of functionality.
Choosing a Pilot is straightforward, as Honda packages equipment in a few basic trim levels rather than offering countless options. Regardless of the year, all Honda Pilots give you three useful rows of seating and lots of storage slots, though early models are smaller and aren't quite as accommodating for teenagers in the third row. Cargo capacity has also increased over the years.

By BARRY - December 31 - 10:00 amI CANT BELIEVE HOW HAPPY I AM WITH THIS TRUCK. I WAS DRIVING A QX-4. I WAS ON A WAITING LIST FOR AN ACURA MDX WHEN THE HONDA CAME OUT. I WAITED TWO MONTHS AND GOT A BLACK PILOT. IT IS A SMOOTH RIDE AND THE FOLD DOWN SEATS HAVE WORKED OUT REAL WELL ( THE FOLD DOWN SEATS WERE WHAT GOT ME INTERESTED IN THE FIRST PLACE). THE VEHICLE IS REALLY ROOMY AND HANDLES WELL.

love my pilot - 2006 Honda Pilot
By ny - December 27 - 4:03 pmAfter much research into mid-sized suv, decided upon pilot over toyota highlander. We absolutely love the ride and quality of the vehicle. The mileage was not as good as we hoped but much better than the 12 mpg we were getting from our Expedition. We get 16 around town and 18-19 on the hwy. The kids love the rear entertainment center. We bought our accessories online and saved a bundle. If you get running boards go with the tubular steal ones vs. the plastic. The plastic ones are not well supported in the rear where the rear passengers get out. We have not tried it on the beach yet and honestly we are worried about getting stuck. Any advise? Great SUV!

By Levi - December 24 - 12:25 amEverytime i place a call with either my Iphone 7plus / Iphone 6 Plus / Samsung Galaxy Note 5 / Google Pixel the phone connects to bluetooth and immediately switches to private mode unless you force it manually back to bluetooth. on some of the phones it never even connects. I went to 2 separate dealers and no help. They tried telling me its a issue with my phone / phones and or my carrier. This issue is on all EX-L and above models. None of these phones have a issue with my 2016 Honda Civic touring or any other car. This issue is known to 2016 Pilots and the new pickup truck which is based on a pilot chasis. I called Honda link and no help other then telling me that i should call once every 6 months to see if there is a update.

This Honda Pilot touring AWD is by far the nicest of them. I researched this vehicle for two months before it even came out and has definately been worth the wait. This will be a vehicle that we will keep until it dies! It has everything you would need and more. I still havent said, " I just wish it had_____." I dont think I will. I have the power I love with all of the conveniences, and most importantly, the space I need, wrapped up in a stylish new package.

Rugged Class! - 2003 Honda Pilot
By D - December 20 - 2:00 amGreat SUV! It is simple, has everything that one would want. AWD is seamless. Parking is dead easy. There is no other eight passager vehicle that can manouver with such ease. Gas milage is a plus. Never under 20 mpg (canadian) We live on a windy road. Body role is minimal compared to my truck and van the pilot replaces. "Happy Piloting".

By Ann - December 17 - 9:04 pmI have always been a big Honda fan. This is number 3 for our family. However, I have to say that the quality does seem to have gone. I have numerous rattles and noises, and this very annoying window chuffing sound when I drive in windy conditions. I like many of the features, particularly the safety features, and it sure beats my 05 Dodge Grand Caravan. However, I am a bit disappointed in the little things such as the rattles...I doubt the dealer will do much about it...no money to be made in doing so.

Great Midsize SUV - 2006 Honda Pilot
By HR6895 - December 17 - 10:50 amApproaching 10K, so far not disappointed at all. Runs solid, fun to drive, does not feel very big vehicle but roomy inside. Getting better gas mileage on highway with speed between 60-70 mph. Using full synthetic Mobil 1 oil may be helpful. AC makes some noise when turned on after not using AC for few days! Makes minor clunk noise going up driveway. Will write review every 10K.
