From commuter to Pilot and Lovin It. - 2004 Honda Pilot
By Jim Brownell - October 29 - 10:00 amWe recently bought a Pilot as we purchased a new home on a private road and needed AWD. We searched every model possible and found the Pilot as the best SUV for the money. This vehicle has exceeded our expectations. It is comfortable, flexible, entertaining and fun to drive. Being a former Maxima driver I know about the fun to drive factor. Our only disappointment is the low fuel mileage (sub 20mpg) and the inability to open the hatch window like the Hyundai Santa Fe and the ommission of standard fog lights. Overall this Pilot flies high in our minds.

Overall good value - 2004 Honda Pilot
By johndoe2008 - October 12 - 1:20 pmThis car has been reliable and sturdy. It performs well (more responsive steering than the Tahoe) and is a comfortable ride. Gas mileage is pretty good for an 8 seater (avg 20 mpg around town).

The Ideal SUV - Finally! - 2004 Honda Pilot
By derdman - October 2 - 2:00 amAfter searching for the ideal SUV - one that provided the combination of value, comfort, handling, and a smart interior layout - we have found the perfect vehicle. The Pilot was clearly the best value for the features, and the drive is clearly superior to any other mid- size SUV. This is the last SUV we test drove, and we didnt leave the dealership until we bought it. The Pilot provides a secure, tight feel when driving - it felt like we were riding in a luxury car, yet we have the space we need and the 4-wheel drive capabilities as an added benefit. Weve been long-time Honda owners, so we took great comfort in buying our first SUV under the Honda brand.

honda pilot 2004 - 2004 Honda Pilot
By roel29 - August 4 - 10:00 amIt has been truly bulky to drive especially when youre alone in the car. However i also feel the responsiveness of it. I dont feel the bounce in the rough roads and the feels very luxurious.
