Bills Review - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Carstoons - January 24 - 10:00 amI was a 37 year GM/Ford person. Glad I made the switch. I tow a boat and also load it up with gardening stuff. This is by far the best tow vehicle I have ever owned, in both handling and power. It also has the smallest engine. I did have some problem with an A/C leak but that has been corrected. I do not like the air flow system very much. On a cool day the vent doesnt give you cool outside air- you have to put on the A/C or open the windows. Which brings up another problem. At highway speeds with only one back window open I get this wierd air compression thing that bothers my ears. Playing with windows or turning on the A/C corrects it. Bill

Just Because its Honda - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Prityboy - December 23 - 2:00 amJust because its Honda made this SUV a bit overpriced. No doubt great ride and such ... but, a little bit more options should have come out as a standard feature because of its price.Good Luck to all of us 1st year buyers.I wish Honda would take into accounts our comments and give us a recall and reward current owners(only75k units) to make some features standard. Keeping my finger cross ...

Awesome! - 2003 Honda Pilot
By DaveA - December 12 - 10:00 amBought the car last year for my newborn. Very reliable and comfy. I look forward to keeping it for a while. In typical Honda/Acura fashion, it has given me ZERO problems.

Honest Pilot Review - 2003 Honda Pilot
By akabob - November 22 - 10:00 amWell my wife got her PILOT. OK 34K$ for a honda, but thats what she wanted. Sure its a nice well made SUV, but 34K$ It rides nice and soft, turns nice, breaks are OK, engine has a lack of low end, ok after you hit 25mph. Basicly a large 4x4 mini van. My new 2003 5.4 expedition gets the same mpg go figure.

Great Rig! - 2003 Honda Pilot
By jimbosc - November 4 - 10:00 amSo far so good. No return trips to the dealer for problems after 1500 miles. I am happy with the driving experience and overall comfort of the Pilot. I would like a little better cornering feel - I think a bigger tirer/lower profile might be the way to go. Plenty of room in not too big package.

Good body - 2003 Honda Pilot
By SinOfCity - November 4 - 10:00 amIve been stuck in a big hail storm just 3 days after purchasing a pilot. For about 15-20 mins had to drive through it. There is no single ding or dent I could notice. Neither a scratch. My Honda Civic on the other hand was pummelled.

Ho Hum - 2003 Honda Pilot
By Not Buyin - August 23 - 10:00 amIve been using a Pilot, but wont be buying one. Does anyone get near the advertised MPG? Does anyone with taste really get excited about the exterior? Just another SUV aspiring to be a minivan if you ask me. Not worth the price premium--you can buy a vwery decent sedan AND a pickup for the price.
