I recently purchased the 2006 Oydessey for two reasons. I owned a 2000 Honda Odyssey and I absolutely loved it!! I did a lot of traveling and had close to 100000 miles on it and it was still running great! The second reason I bought one again is the service department at Treadwell. They are really the best. I have owned several cars and the Odyssey mini van has been the best even beating out a Lexus! Having two small children, the minivan is convenient and my kids love it. I have the dvd player and every luxury in a car you could ask for. Right now, I wouldnt have any other car or minivan if you gave it to me. I love my Honda Oydyssey!

The Odyssey should have an all wheel drive option for those of us living in the northland. Our previous car was a Subaru Outback Wagon and we will likely go back to an all wheel drive option. We also have an AWD Passat and the difference between it and the Odyssey on snowy roads is obvious.

Fun and easy to drive. Comfortable and makes all family members happy, with heated seats and dvd, plus plenty of room for 3 kids, and plenty of cargo space for a family of 5s road trip.

  • nice van with some quirks - 2005 Honda Odyssey

No regrets spending $36.5K. It drives and handles better than our Volvo S70 GLT 98. Gas mileage is between 16- 21.5 mpg with 1,400 miles on odometer. Brakes could/should be more powerful to stop this hefty car. Steering is precise and not overly light but brakes feel vague.

We love our Honda minivan. The riding comfort on the leather seats is perfect. Heating and air conditioning and radio controls too far from driver seat. clock very difficult to read.

All aspects of handling have been great. The interior design is not comfortable on long trips. VERY NOISY. The driver seat is great if you are a small person, but the steering wheel cannot be adjusted in or out, so if you have long legs and torso, you would need exceptionally long arms to reach the steering wheel. We have the need for eight seats but the middle 2nd row seat is just a joke as a baby seat wont fit there nor can anyone over 5 sit in comfort without cramping the seats on either side. Getting in or out of the the third row of seats is just passible for small children, just dont make this a teenager passenger vehicle (soccer team?).

  • Very Nice Van - 2005 Honda Odyssey

Very Nice- Touring Model looks nice with Chrome outside. Like Sun Roof, wish Honda had AWD as option though, and a spare. If and when Run Flats get a nail in them, its not as easy as going to a gas staition.

  • Best Choice On The Market - 2005 Honda Odyssey

This is my third Honda vehicle, and the best one yet! It is extremely comfortable, the instruments are positioned perfectly for easy reach, and the simple and clear layout of the dashboard make the mini-van appealing to the eye. This is the best minvan on the market - trust me, Ive test driven ALL of them!

  • 2005 Odyssey EX - 16 months in - 2005 Honda Odyssey

Ive owned several vans over the years, Toyotas, VWs, this Honda. This EX ranks right up there at the top. It runs well, handles better than my previous Toyota although my Previa was the best van out there in 1994. Ive always required a vehicle that can tow a small trailer. This one does, although the towing package, consisting of enlarged trans. & pwr strg. coolers, a wind deflector, and the hitch and harness for lights can be expensive, depending on if you can install it yourself.

Have 200 miles on my Touring Odyssey and love it so far! Great features for the kids---DVD is wonderful! Navigation requires some experimentation but is very handy. Overall design is very user-friendly and well-planned. Getting about 21-22 MPG... better than my Expedition! Would improve on some things but it is a great vehicle... quite expensive but you get a lot for the money. Got mine for about 5% over invoice... so they are dealing... did all dealing over the net and did $500 better than in person at my local dealership. Drove 2 hours to get the color and model I wanted but was definitely worth it! Dont let the dealers push the silver & red, those seem to be the most plentiful. Drives great!!!
