  • Honda,s Best - 2005 Honda Odyssey

Went to buy another Sienna. I was interested in the XLE Limited. When I found out that the floor mats and rear window spoiler are a $700 extra on a car that sells for $35000+ and the dealer would not agree to include these items in the price, I left and went down the road to visit Honda. We drove Honda touring and were impressed with the controlled ride, quietness (ANC), the cylinder management system (VCM) and all the other features many similar to that of the Sienna. In the first 1500 miles I have gotten 19 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the interstate at 75 mph. With Honda I got a better deal, better selection and overall I think I got a better car than if I would have bought a Sienna

  • Pure Luxury - 2005 Honda Odyssey

This is a wonderful Van - The interior luxury is amazing for the driver and the passengers. I love having all that leg room! The navigation system is worth the extra $$$! Having the 8th seat is very useful (not availiable on the Touring model) The ride & handling is what I expect in a new car... I was not dissapointed in any way! I havent had it long enough to comment on reliability or gas mileage.

  • Gas mileage not as good as claimed - 2005 Honda Odyssey

Has been a good travel vehicle in. However, is a little on the noisy side. Maybe when it is time to change tires. That will help!

  • Very Happy with Odyssey - 2005 Honda Odyssey

My wife and I traded in our 2003 Audi A6 for an Odyssey after we were going to have our 2nd child. We have been exceptionally happy with the Odyssey. It is easy to get the kids in and out, storage is ample, the ride is very solid and visibility is outstanding. Weve had two recalls- noisy brake pads, and the seal on the front windshield.

  • Lots Of Quality Problems - 2005 Honda Odyssey

Fun to drive and comfortable but has been in shop 7 times with quality issues. Steering wheel pump replaced, sliding door problems, seat fell apart, etc. Lots of wind noise. Have talked to dealership and corporation and they dont care that a brand new car is in the shop all the time. I dont recommend this car to anyone!

I love everything about this minivan: its sporty looks, great safety features, easy to understand controls, power doors, easy to drive, its abundance of storage, and its comfortable roomy interior.

  • Awesome 2005 Honda Odyssey - 2005 Honda Odyssey

Paid about $700.00 less than sticker price. Worth it! Test drove the Sienna & Nissan Quest. Sienna drive was boring at best, the Quest drove well but the build quality was not impressive.

  • just another perfect minivan - 2005 Honda Odyssey

I owned the original body style change and waited for this design. It was worth the wait. Comfort, beautiful design, all the features and that Honda feeling of owning something that just plain works.

  • 2005 LX - 7 Months Later - 2005 Honda Odyssey

Purchased in 12/04. Sienna was comparable, but a long successful history with Hondas clenched my decision. Had a small rattle coming from passenger side in first month, but it has since stopped and not appeared in 6 months. Perhaps due to contraction in cold months? Made a drive from Baltimore to Greenville NC on ONE tank of gas - - Impressive mileage for a V6. The engine is smooth and powerful - 80 mph cruising is comfortable with plenty of power left for passing. The LX offers everything you need for 3 kids & the dog on a long trip (Lots of space & a CD player). I did not expect to be impressed with the road manners of a minivan, but I cant say enough positive things about this car

  • Big Step Up From My 2001 Odyssey - 2005 Honda Odyssey
    By -

I traded in my 2001 EX with 55,000 miles for the new 2005 Touring. The old van served me well, but the 2005 is light years ahead. The power, ride, handling, and transmission are all much improved in the next generation. It will be hard to improve on this Odyssey any time soon.
