Overview & Reviews
Other than an improved database for the navigation system and a seatbelt reminder system, there are no significant changes for the '04 Odyssey.
- Excellent crash test scores, huge interior, fold-flat third-row seat, powerful V6, optional navigation and entertainment system.

Surprised - 2004 Honda Odyssey
By Surprisedd - April 24 - 2:00 amOverall the van is good. Took several trips to the dealership to correct the bad pull to the left. Turns out that the engine was not sitting in the cradle square. Seems OK now but still concerned. The van rides nice. I am very disapointed with the gas mileage. We are slow drivers and still only get 13.5 - 14.5 MPG around town. 22 MPG on highway.

The brake make noice - 2004 Honda Odyssey
By DZ - April 19 - 10:00 amWhen I brake, the rear brakes made loud noices. It happens most of the times after reversing. A couple of dealerships said it is normal. But I have not heard similar complaints from other Odyssey owners. Otherwise, the van is reliable.

Sporty, Roomy, Confy, Reliable!!!! - 2004 Honda Odyssey
By jmelohio - April 19 - 10:00 amI had this minivan eyed for sometime, this is my 4th Honda. Now that I have kids, this is the way to go. I had an SUV (Honda Passport), compared the Pilot and decided on the Oddy. Add the Fog Lights as I did, great add on(not cheap but useful, great visibility). It is a reliable vehicle, solid built, quiet ride, very sporty feeling when driving on the highway. Its responsive too.

Fun Car, drives just like an Accord - 2004 Honda Odyssey
By breadsoup2001 - January 17 - 10:00 amWeve own our Honda Odyssey for 2 weeks now. Nothing but pure driving fun, drives just like our old Honda Accord. Cant tell the difference between driving a Minivan and a sedan. V6 Acceleration is strong, handling is great, and the interior is very roomy. We have twin daughters and putting them into their seats couldnt be more simpler. Third row, when not in use, hides underneath the floorboard, gives us added room for groceries and other things. Leather interior is soft and easy to clean- up. Drivers seat is comfortable, easy to adjust. Overall driver visibility is great, with use of a broadway rear-view mirror adds more of a better view.

BEST MINI-VAN YET FOR ME - 2004 Honda Odyssey
By HONDA LOVER - November 4 - 2:00 amI HAVE OWNED TWO FORD MINI-VANS (WINDSTARS) AND A DODGE GRAND CARAVAN AND THE HONDA IS BY FAR THE BEST VAN I HAVE EVER OWNED OR DRIVEN. IT HANDLES LIKE A CAR AND THE MILEAGE AND POWER IS FANTASTIC. I AM A SALES MANAGER AND DRIVE IT A LOT ON THE OPEN HIGHWAY, IT A DREAM FOR LONG DISTANCE DRIVING. SO FAR NOT A THING WRONG WITH THIS VEHICLE AS DELIVERED. THE ONLY NEGATIVES I SEE ARE THE LACK OF LIGHTED CONTROLS FOR THE WINDOWS AND THE CRUISE CONTOL.I FUMBLE WITH THEM AT NIGHT. THE DETENT FOR THE DRIVE POSITION IS IFFY. I HAVE FOUND MYSELF DRIVING IN D3 SEVERAL TIMES BUT BECAUSE THE ENGINE IS SO QUITE I DO NOT NOTICE IT UNLESS I LOOK AT THE TACH.
