Best In Its Class - 2005 Honda Odyssey
By Darwoody - February 17 - 12:10 pm2005 Honda Odyssey is the way to go when buying a minivan. It drives and handles the road like a car. Its very comfortable and easy to fall in love with. A five-star rated minivan in my opinion. I could sell these vehicles all day long....and Im not a sales person.

Hot Rod of Mini-Vans - 2005 Honda Odyssey
By S2000black - February 17 - 3:50 amHandles great, good power. I notice alot of 05 Odysseys cutting and weaving through traffic. I think most people get overly confident driving the Ody. It feels like a sports sedan. Been of 5 trips in 7 months. Love the Navi. My 80 year old mother and my 4 grandkids love the DVD with surround sound headphones.

Great so far, time will tell.... - 2005 Honda Odyssey
By psigs - February 15 - 6:10 pmGot our new EX in Dec. Shopped around to find the colors we wanted. Edmunds says that others are paying MSRP but dealers around Dallas are advertising about 5% over invoice, which is what we paid. Sure is nice compared to our 97 GMC Safari that we traded in. First couple tanks of gas netted about 15 mpg for about 2/3 city and 1/3 highway. Hope that improves as the motor breaks in. Dont let the dealers get you to pay for that "paint sealant and scotch-guard" baloney.

excellent for travel - 2005 Honda Odyssey
By sharon264 - February 12 - 1:06 pmI took this car on a road trip, over 5,000 miles, with my two sons (8&13)and it was excellent. There were no complaints of discomfort. I highly recommend this vehicle or any Honda. I had an Accord for 12 years with over 200,000 miles and it was excellent.

Better than expected - 2005 Honda Odyssey
By Big Stamy - January 29 - 12:10 amGreat family car. It is so functional but still alot of fun to drive. Really like the sport feel of the car. A very smooth ride. By far the best car we have purchased.

Disappointed with my new Honda - 2005 Honda Odyssey
By Paul Clyde - January 6 - 2:53 pmI am disappointed with my purchase for the following reasons: low mileage (14.5 mpg city, 24 mpg high way). The car has about a dozen small quality issues. The driver and front passenger seat are not comfortable due to the position of the (non- telescoping) steering wheel. The electric doors do not close well, together with the wind noise you never feel secure about properely shut doors. The doors had to be aligned, since they were chipping the paint. The car has a bumpy ride, it in no way doubles as a sedan, its a truck . The raised expectations were clearly not met. You should do a much more extensive test drive then me before you buy.

Good Van - 2005 Honda Odyssey
By Yanky79 - December 19 - 1:23 amGreat vehicle, especially considering this is a minivan. Honda did right by including all the options in a single package. While the design may not get you noticed on the highway the interior comfort and included amenties are a huge benefit. Not requiring premium fuel (like the Sienna) and having engineered the interior were the items that gave this van the edge over the Toyota Sienna and Chrysler Town & Country. If you are looking for a people mover and desire the amenities of most newer cars, this van comes highly recommended. Honda has the racket down to a science with the allocation of new vehicles, keeping the price artficially inflated. Working a deal close to invoice=VERY tough

Not just a mommy-van! - 2005 Honda Odyssey
By Wendy Minshall - December 7 - 9:03 amWe searched for a long time to find the perfect van. The only downside is that you cant buy the touring model with 8 passenger (which was important to us) and I wish the middle seats were stowaway like the back seats. Other than that it is PERFECT! When you are driving it, it feels more like a luxury car than a Mini-van! We also liked the Toyota Sienna, but we are 100% sure that this was the right van for us! Good luck!

Ody for Me - 2005 Honda Odyssey
By alygal - November 14 - 9:03 pmLove my van. Switched from a Ford. Great room and comfort. Am currently at odd with Honda over the "XM Ready" radio. It take another 700.00 to make it truely ready. I am hoping Honda will step up and make it "ready". Otherwise love the ride and the space is great. My husband is 68" and fit fine.

Generally great but a few details lack - 2005 Honda Odyssey
By cm - September 30 - 2:36 amSome things overengineered (the heating/air-conditioning is confusing to operate). Non-adjustable armrests are a nuisance (adjustable armrests are only available with leather interior). Gas mileage better than expected.
