  My Odyssey - 2005 Honda Odyssey

  I walked into the Honda dealer to get a booklet on the vans. I met this sales person who was very polite and ask me to look at the physical vehicle. Well he said why dont you start it up and take a test drive. I had no intentions of purchasing this vehicle. I was driving a 2002 van and was happy. I was really empressed with the Odyssey and was told if I wanted to I could have delevery in 2 hours. Every thing that was promised was delevered by the sales rep. And now I have an Odyssey in my garage, I am very satisified with the trade off.

  So far, the Ody is great, Comfortable, quiet and solid build quality. Its too early to judge mileage since its less than two weeks old, but it doesnt seem too bad so far. (EPA estimates are somewhat unrealistic, anyway.) Very good acceleration, tight, responsive handling, excellent brakes. Accommodations are user friendly. The dealer was very professional, good buying experience.

  Great vehicle! Just bought it this week after searching and searching. Plenty of room for our family of 5, and the DVD system makes the ride more than fun for our children. Plenty of "get up and go" for the highway. Interior is the most comfortable we were in among all the vans we test drove.

  We look and drove them all. The Odyessy by far was the best minivan on the market: Safty, Fuel Economy, Functionality, Reliabilty, Price. We have taken two long road trips so far and this is the only way to travel.

  I absolutely love my Honda Odyssey. It is so incredibly comfortable and our children cannot wait to go somewhere in it. The DVD is one of the features that my family truly enjoys. The power doors are great. When my hands are full, all I have to do is push a button and the doors open by themselves. I cannot say enough about the Honda Odyssey. The comfort, the space and the reliability of this van is superb. I would reccomend this auto to anyone searching for a minivan for their family. I cannot say it enough, we are truly satisfied with the choice that we made to purchase a Honda Odyssey.

  Love my 05 Odyssey - 2005 Honda Odyssey

  As a salesman who puts close to 50,000 miles per year on a vehicle I want something I can depend on and the 05 Odyssey fills the bill. It is very powerful, yet gets good gas mileage ( 21-25 mpg depending on conditions) comfortable and fun to drive. It just has the feel of a solid well built car that can haul 4 golfers, their clubs and luggage with ease. A very important aspect for me is the resale value which is 2nd to none in its class. When the time comes I will buy another one.

  contrary to what i read from edmunds tmv price i got the van 1250 dollars cheaper than the MSRP price.the key is shopping around.try all the dealers. dealer price is 2% to 3% less than the invoice price.for any new vehicle ask for a 4% to 8% above the invoice and walk out if you dont get it.but for odyssey it is going to be really tough but worth trying to go up from the invoice price. the van is worth every cent. excellent handling.i feel the control is much better than the corolla i have.

  This van is definitely worth looking at if you are in the market for a vehicle. You may think that you dont want a van, but this was the vehicle of choice for us after a Dodge Ram and Chrysler Sebring. The quality construction, super reliability, and overall value with this car are amazing, especially if you avoid the leather package. Lots of car for the money here!

  We have put 9000 miles on our Odyssey since Dec 04. It is a great vehicle except it rides a little rough. We had a Ford Van before and it rode better. Otherwise we love the van. The economy is great. Turning radius is beneficial to parking.

  After test driving a Toyota Sienna and intending to buy it the next day, we decided to see and quickly eliminate a 2005 Odyssey from our options. Lucky for us we decided to have a quick look because it fit our needs much better and even came with a price tag of nearly $5,000 less than its rival. The Honda engine in the EX-L is extremely clean burning and fuel efficient. While the Sienna is a nice vehicle, the Odyssey gives owners much more bang for their buck.
