  • LX Impressions at 1Kmi - 2003 Honda Odyssey

Every time I drive the vehicle, theres more to appreciate and enjoy. We were looking for an uncomplicated vehicle without (and contrary to most people) power slider doors. We own another Honda and appreciate the build quality and reliability, but also design and function of both vehicles. They appeal to the engineering side of the driver/owner.

  • Best vehicle I ever owned - 2003 Honda Odyssey

My wife and I just purchased this wonderful vehicle in anticipation of our new child. We currently have a 3 year old. We had to look around for someone who would negotiate with us and we found one ($2000 less than MSRP, with mud guards). We almost gave up and purchased a Toyota Sienna. Since I purchased this vehicle, I find myself wanting to drive longer distances.

  • Great Minivan....but, needs better MPG - 2003 Honda Odyssey

I surpised my wife with the EX-L w/ DVD for our 6th anniversary. She loves it. Its fun to drive, great acceleration, roomy, fits in my garage, and the kids are SILENT when the DVD is playing in the back. We love it! One suggestion...the city mpg is horrible. I wouldnt think shed have to fill the tank once a week, but she does.

The market of minivans is saturated to the point of overflow. If youre in the market, do your share of shopping around. The Kia Sedona is a great van for the price but unfortunately, price isnt my main consideration. Look at every minivan out there...test drive the Odyssey last and youll know what Im talking about.

  • Never thought it would happen - 2003 Honda Odyssey

I spent a lot of time looking for a mini-van hoping that I would never find one that I liked. Well that all ended when I went to the Honda dealer and discovered the Odyssey. With three children and a fourth on the way this vehicle is exactly what myself and the wife needed. The interior is loaded with practical features that were not present in other mini-vans we looked at. The Odyssey handles and feels like a car not a van or truck. It has great acceleration and is very comfortable. I drove my entire family including the three dogs to North Carolina with no problems. I highly reccomend this vehicle but it is not cheap.

  • Another Honda - 2003 Honda Odyssey

I never thought Id own a minivan, but Honda makes the minivan not only tolerable, but dear I say, fun. The 240 HP engine just rocks, yet the interior is quite. Suspension is great. 3rd row seat is not just for kids. Theres plenty of room for 6 full sized adults (7 if you dont mind being shoulder to shoulder). The leather seats are like cow hide heaven. Entertainment sys is top notch. The DVD system keeps the munkins occupied and content. Consider the Honda reputation for quality and reliability and the fact that you can wheel and deal on the price and you have the undisputed champ of the minivan category for `03.

My wife and I have been Toyota owners (Camry & Previa) for the last 10 years. I was dissapointed for the overpriced 2004 Sienna. I contacted every Toyota dealer within 200-300 miles and none wanted to sell the car less that MSRP ($28,800) because "the vans were selling faster than they can keep them on the lot". I got more with the 2003 Honda Odyssey EX plus full nose cover and towing package for a total of $27,000 out the lot. The Honda dealer was very courteous and extremely helpful. I sold the Toyota Camry and got another Honda: Civic LX. You can get more for less by buying a Honda.

  • Best Choice Ever!!! - 2003 Honda Odyssey

This was our first choice of a mini-van and we love it! Its only been 3 weeks and weve put over a 1,000 miles on it. Everytime were on the freeway we cant even feel how fast were driving, its such a smooth ride!! We even looked at a 2004 Sienna that a friend just bought but the Odyssey seemed more spacious than the Sienna. Didnt get the DVD entertainment system, wasnt worth the money ($1,500)especially for a 5 in. screen.

  • Over paid Odyssey - 2003 Honda Odyssey

Nice vehicle, wish it was quieter. I rented a 02 sienna the last year for a trip and could talk without raising my voice. Over rough roads, pretty noisy. I even had $1200 soundproofing done but it needs to be designed from the ground up. This on top of $1000 over list.
