  • Unbelievable technology package - 2005 Honda Odyssey
    By -

It is an incredible package, the amount of technology that is crammed into this car is just amazing!! Honda paid attention to almost every detail and made improvements in every area. This ody drives like a car and the body roll is minimal if not non-existent. However, Honda did not finish the job. They have added memory seats, well the feature appears to memorize only the seat positions and it does not seem to memorize the rear view mirror positions. Only one of the the power windows has an auto up and down feature. For a car costing 42k(drive out), Id expect it all the Windows to have auto up and down feature.

  • Worth the Wait! - 2005 Honda Odyssey

After looking extensively at the 04 Honda, Toyota and Nissan, we decided to wait for the Honda redesign and glad we did. It has everything and more the Toyota offered for ~$4500 less. Only complaint is DVD system wouldnt eject disk after first use and had to be replaced. Paid MSRP on 10/15.

If you are looking for the next generation of minivans, you must look at the Honda. It has features that make driving it just a delight such as all the sliding doors are powered and the warning sensors which tell you in the front or rear how close you are to another object. The way you can easily reconfigure the interior makes it useful for almost anything you need.

The Honda Odyssey Touring van has many features that appeal to my driving habits. The easy opening doors allow my kids to just climb in a buckle up. The rear hatch does not strain my shoulder anymore while loading groceries in that large deep well. It is easy to manuever in traffic.

  • Love my Honda - 2005 Honda Odyssey

Purchased Odyssey over Sienna because in the Sienna, you must use headphones w/DVD (although the commercial depicts this differently). I have toddlers who wont wear headphones. Also, Sienna loads DVD from second row, Odyssey loads it from front seat (driver can do it). Would like a better center console in the front. Rear console is okay if you dont want to use third-row seating. Dont really use the lazy Susan that they tout. I love the second row windows that go down. Nav and dvd are great.

  • The Odyssey of Comfort - 2005 Honda Odyssey

I was totally against the idea of buying a minivan, until I sat in the Odyssey. It blew my mind! I always assumed that a minivan was boring. This van is nowhere near boring....you can not put Odyssey and boring in the same sentence. I love the comfort of it. Most of all, I love the easy access in putting in and taking out my daughter from the van. I no longer have the back problems from bending in the car to get her car seat in and out. It drives like a BMW. Its a Smooth ride. It hugs the road and thats comforting to a new mommy. (Especially in the rain).

  • Love it, love it, love it! - 2005 Honda Odyssey

We have just bought our 3rd Odyssey. No other minivan can compare, I wonder why the other guys dont just give up! I test drove the Toyota Sienna, thinking the new design would finally be some competition. ICK! I cant think of a single thing that I liked better about the Sienna, including the price. The Odyssey drives much smoother and more solid and the stearing wheel has a firmer feel. The Odyssey feels bigger (especially drivers seat) even in places where the specs say the Toyota is bigger. I thought our old 2001 Odyssey was the best ever - but Honda has improved on perfection.

  • Honda Odyessy Touring Model a GAS HOG - 2005 Honda Odyssey
    By -

The Honda Odyessy 2005 Touring Model met the advertised specifications except EPA gas mileage. It is a gas hog! Fuel economy is adverstised at 21/28 City/ Highway. I get ( with over 8500 miles on the vehicle) 13.8 MPG City and 21MPG Interstate. This great variance of more than 30% was related to America Honda Corporate HQs in Torrance, CA. several times. Their response was, you should expected to get a little difference depending on driving conditions. My requests for the EPA test specs for fuel economy was denied. A 30 % variance does not meet the ethical business practice that you expect from Honda. I would have purchased a Toyota Sienna instead, and intend to do that.

  • 2005 Honda EX - 21,000 Miles - 2005 Honda Odyssey
    By -

Ive had this car for 1 1/2 years now and must say that I have been impressed by the Minivan. With 21K+ Miles on it now, the Van has been safe, secure and stable on wet/slippery/icy roads of the North East. The VSC has really been great and the Brakes/Handling have been very good. My primary reasons for selecting this van over Toyota were the Standard Safety features and I have not been disappointed. Average Mileage 21 MPG.

  • Super Odyssey Van.....Funmobile, PLUS - 2005 Honda Odyssey

This van is the best I have ever had, or driven in!!! Handles bumps with ease with a smooth ride. Excellent performance, fun ride, awesome features. The seats are comfortable like sitting in a lounge chair. The interior appearance is luxurious and practical. I like all the extra features. The dealership was helpful and made you feel right at home.
