So far we have been very pleased with our new purchase. We looked at the Sienna, but the Hondas ride and overall comfort sold us. We have never owned a stigmatized minivan, we have always been a SUV or Truck family, but we have been more than pleased with the luxurious interior and amenities available for our entire familys comfort and ride enjoyment.

I have nothing else to add except that this has to be the most amazing vehicle Ive ever driven. Spacious, yet drives like a car. My family loves riding in it (and watching DVDs on those long trips).

Before buying, we researched many vans and this came up on top in all. But after mystery electrical issues that have left us stranded 3x and having to replace all four tires after 18000 miles (at Hondas expense) makes me concerned for what the next 18000 miles will bring. It is a very comfortable van, nice features dont get me wrong. Fuel economy should be better, option for non-run flat tires should be there, and maybe the weight of the tires contribute to the lower mpg than even my brother in laws EX-L. Handles very well and VCM is unnoticeable.

Replaced our 2000 Odyssey EX with this 05 touring nav and res.. Better in everyway. Quiet, powerful and full of new features. Power doors are much better than before, seats are way more comfortable and ride is fantastic. Having some problems with the voice recognition, maybe just takes practice. I am concerned about the PAX and that alone almost made us choose the EX-L, but wife likes the power tailgate too much (3 children and lots of shopping)

Superior engineering, both from performance standpoint and exterior/interior styling. Looks good, feels good, controls are intelligently placed, great features, very reliable and the usual Honda performance (excellent). Slightly disappointed in fuel usage, so far has not lived up to suggested fuel economy. In all, very pleased; would purchase again and definitely would reccomend.

I have six children in and out of the van daily. All children are in car seats. Eight passenger is great because I didnt want an suv. The one thing I would like Honda change is the volume speakers in the back seat. The volume is right in the kids ears and for the middle row of children to hear the ones in the back have it bothersome loud in their ears! That to me is a big problem, because not just the dvd player volume it is the radio too. The other problem is the back seat needs a little more room for these huge car seats. Car seat manufacuters and Honda need to talk space and size. The three in the back are extremely tight. We have to squeeze them in, in a creative way.

We have had our Odyssey for a year and its been great! So fun to drive, good mileage, great turning radius, great performance. It is so reliable.

  • Great van, great price - 2005 Honda Odyssey

We opted for a used Odyssey over a new domestic because this van is a perfect fit for our family. Performance is great with a strong V6. Everyone is extremely comfortable in the roomy interior. The handling and ride are both terrific for a vehicle this size. The Lazy Susan is handy to have. And to top it all off, the exterior styling is far superior to the comptetition. Wrap in Hondas reputation for quality and reliability and we figured we couldnt go wrong.

  • An excellent ride! - 2005 Honda Odyssey

Wifes Christmas present... excellent van! Smart use of space throughout -- shifter on dash took a bit getting used to, but now makes sense. PLENTY of power to merge/pass with. Excellent stereo. Tons of 2nd and 3rd row leg room. Mileage not the greatest (we got 24.5 on recent trip w/5 passengers, averaging 75-80 on interstate), but even in town turns 18-20 if you avoid jackrabbit starts from stoplights. Actually prefer no crossbars on roof -- this is easier to wash. After a minor rear-end accident in our beloved Ody, we drove both a new Windstar and Chrysler T&C as rentals. Ford interior was cramped, and T&C, while besting the Ford, was no match for the Ody in terms of size/comfort.

wow! This our 3rd Odyssey(99and02)and the 05 is incredible. The only cons are unopening 3rd row window, shift lever position and no available 4wd.
