Overview & Reviews
The Odyssey gains an intermittent rear window wiper this year, as well as an auto up-and-down driver-side window.
- Excellent crash test scores, huge interior, fold-flat third-row seat, powerful V6, optional navigation and entertainment system.
- Quality of some interior materials could be better, high demand limits negotiating possibilities.

No other minivan compares - 2003 Honda Odyssey
By 4Hondas - May 7 - 2:00 amI have owned honda vehicles since my first one in 1985. They are without a doubt the most reliable vehicle you can buy. Our new Odyssey is no exception. I noted that there are many negative reviews in here. All I can say is that they must be using it for off road purposes! My wife, kids and I couldnt be happier after dumping our Dodge Grand Caravan that had MANY problems, including a transmission that needed to be replaced. The Odyssey is one of the tops for reliabilty and worksmanship. Our Grand Caravan was terrible and all of our friends and aquaintences said the same about their american vans.

This van rocks! - 2003 Honda Odyssey
By thockman - May 7 - 2:00 amThe Odyssey is everything my family wants in a minivan. Alright, so its no sports car, but with the V6, 240 horsepower engine, it has power to spare when getting on the highway. The cabin is voluminous, so the kids hang out far in the back. The power outlet makes for easy TV/DVD hookup without buying the overpriced iVES. Highly recommended.

Its a honda - 2003 Honda Odyssey
By abused in maine - April 17 - 2:00 amThis is an excellent minivan. The power and handling are excellent, although it does have a bit of torque steer when accelerating. When comparing features and price with other minivans, the honda was by far the best. Maine pot holes and salt have not hindered our Honda in the first year, nor do I expect it to be hindered in the future. Overall an excellent vehicle.

2003 Honda Odyssey - 2003 Honda Odyssey
By rabatson - April 15 - 2:00 amThe 2003 Honday Odyssey is perfect except for one thing: road noise thru the sliding doors. Ive had my doors checked (the noise thru the passenger door being particularly loud) by the dealership I purchased it from and they say everything is normal. The front passenger often cannot hear a normal conversation in the van due to the noise coming into thru the sliding door behind him. Ive talked to other Odyssey owners and they say its not a problem for them.

My new Honda Odyssey - 2003 Honda Odyssey
By akshay - March 25 - 2:00 amThe Odyssey is by far the best Minivan that I have ever driven. Love the 240 HP V6 engine. The 3rd seats which magically disappear are a huge plus. The high safety rating combined with a very comfortable ride have made me an extremely happy owner.

Disappotined - 2003 Honda Odyssey
By Raguu - March 25 - 2:00 amI thought Id love the Honda. My last minivan was a Dodge and boy was I wrong. The biggest selling point is the fold down 3rd row and I think the reason is its the only thing better than the dodge!

Im actually PROUD to drive a minivan! - 2003 Honda Odyssey
By mfallo - March 25 - 2:00 am3 years ago I purchased my VW Passat because Consumer Reports magazine rated it best family car. HA! What a joke! From day one I had no idea what the editors were thinking. But when I was due for a new vehicle, again I listened to the experts, giving them one last chance. The Odyssey is everything it claims to be and more. A mom definately had a say on the design of this thing. The best car I ever owned before this was a 1991 Honda Prelude, and this minivan has the b---s of that little Honda. Once you step in you are surrounded by ingenious design, luxurious leather, and such a smooth ride that the big bus feels like a small sporty sedan.
