Overview & Reviews
Other than an improved database for the navigation system and a seatbelt reminder system, there are no significant changes for the '04 Odyssey.
- Excellent crash test scores, huge interior, fold-flat third-row seat, powerful V6, optional navigation and entertainment system.

Still the best - 2004 Honda Odyssey
By Ellicott City - March 22 - 10:00 amAfter owning for 6 months and 8k miles, I like it more than the first time. It is indeed quiet while cruising, the ride is smooth on good surface but too sensitive on bumpy road. The engine is very smooth but 5 speed auto trand is just adquite. During a long trip, found the 3rd row seat is more comfortable. 2nd row seat is not compy with vibrations. For long trip, Sienna is definetely better choice but going around town Odyssey is the winner.

my first van! I love it - 2004 Honda Odyssey
By christi - March 8 - 2:11 pmwe researched all of the best minivans before we purchased our Honda. We chose the Honda due to great crash rates, the roomy cabin, fuel economy. Other vans were very over priced on the sticker for the exact features we got. I dont think you should have to go in and haggle over $5,000 difference. I love my Honda!I would definitely recommend this van, in fact I have.

Nice Van - 2004 Honda Odyssey
By Tod - February 13 - 9:30 amNice van—functional, reliable reputation. We traded a 2000 Camry LE in for this van. The Camry was plush. The van has a cheap plastic feel to it however it seems sturdy as if it will take the abuse that is evitable from family use. Overall I think the van is practical, and if it stands up to its reliable reputation it will be a good value.

No more Oddssey for me - 2004 Honda Odyssey
By Jimania - February 12 - 2:00 amLeased this van on my birthday 2003 for 4 years period of time. The first thing that catch my attention is the fuel efficiency, 17 mpg. The second thing is the sound system, the quality is pathetic. I should get a Chevy Suburban instead.

Made my wife like Minivans - 2004 Honda Odyssey
By Happy Dad - February 7 - 12:55 amMy wife went from a 2 door Honda Civic EX, to a 4 door Honda Accord LX to the Honda Odyssey EXL with Rear Entertainment System. Before this van she swore she would never drive a minivan. But, with 3 kids now it is a necessity. We both love this van. It rides very smoothly. Has lots of room and the DVD player keeps the kids occupied on long trips. The horse power is great too. We drove a 2004 Toyota Sienna when we shopped and a Chrysler Town and Country. The Sienna had a couple more bells and whistles (second row power windows, more power outlets, power lift gate) and I really like the Town and Countrys stow and go seats. But I am very glad we bought an Odyssey.

Great Deal and Great Drivde - 2004 Honda Odyssey
By Johnny Roland - January 6 - 2:00 amI bought my Odyssey using the Internet and Edmunds.com. this auto. My previous car, a Subaru Legacy, had died the weekend before, and I needed a car pronto. Fremont Honda responded right away, and they didnt play any games. The car had just come in that morning, and I drove it home that evening. This car has plenty of power, handles great for a minivan, and the kids love it (althought they wanted the DVD entertainment systems--sorry!). Im getting about 20mpg in all kinds of driving, which is pretty good for a car this size.

Good performance, Pood design - 2004 Honda Odyssey
By Road Hazard - December 24 - 4:38 pmMy experience with the Odyssey has generally been good except for a major repair to the AC compressor at 11000 miles. A small stone the size of a pea penetrated the compressor and required a $450 repair at my expense. Honda claimed this was a road hazard damage. Warning to all Honda owners: There are Billions of these pea sized hazards all over the roads in the USA!! Honda needs to add deflectors in the front grill to reduce the potential damage.
