Overview & Reviews
Other than an improved database for the navigation system and a seatbelt reminder system, there are no significant changes for the '04 Odyssey.
- Excellent crash test scores, huge interior, fold-flat third-row seat, powerful V6, optional navigation and entertainment system.

04 ODYSSEY EXL AS SALES VEHICLE - 2004 Honda Odyssey
By BTBUTZ - December 19 - 1:17 amAfter driving a 02 Caravan Sport with the 3.3ltr engine & 4 spd trans., test driving the 04 Honda Odyssey was a real eyeopener and proved to be very reliable for my Midwest sales rep. territory. The Honda was hands down smoother in every way and more powerful to boot. I liked my GC, but the Odyssey has me sold and I will buy the 07 Touring for our family vehicle soon. I will buy another Dodge GC also, to run til it falls apart, hopefully later than sooner for my work vehicle. Utility van, this time bought with 80k miles, depreciated all the way out. Would recommend Dodge or Chrysler owners at least drive the Odyssey before making the choice

Long-time Caravan switched to Odyssey - 2004 Honda Odyssey
By OregonOdyssey - December 2 - 2:00 amHappy with 96 Dodge Caravan, but time to get new van. IMHO not enough engineering solidity in Caravan compared to foreign vans. Did serious comparison of Kia/Toyota/Nissan/Honda. Kia not fuel efficient enough, reliability/future of Kia in general questionable - worst quality ratings of any car maker. New Toyota nice, but not worth $7K more than Odyssey and availability extremely limited ("none on the ground"). Nissan has nice style, but not worth $5K more than Odyssey.

So much room! - 2004 Honda Odyssey
By rvtprincess - September 8 - 3:12 pmTraded our 04 Accord in for this because of a 2nd baby on the way and wanted more room. Boy, is there ever tons of space! Its very peppy- gets up and goes quick for a family car. Dual sliding doors are so nice with kids when my hands are full. Turns on a dime and has great visibility. Wish I couldve sprung for an 05 w/ remote rear door opener.

Honda Odyssey - 2004 Honda Odyssey
By wamlam - August 20 - 9:57 amI enjoy driving this van, it is easy to handle and I DO NOT worry about my young children opening the door while we are riding down the road. The ride is smooth and bumps are unheard of in this van.
