  • Definitely "Fit" for me! - 2016 Honda Fit

This car is absolutely amazing! I own the EX version and Ive never been more in love! Its comfy and super easy to steer, not to mention the awesome turn radius. Its super compact and can fit in tight places. Really great gas mileage especially with the econ button. The Honda lane watch is the best invention ever making it super easy to take turns and see into your blind spot. I would recommend this car to everyone!

  • The C-47 Cargo Plane of hatchbacks - 2016 Honda Fit

I went to a recent auto show with my eye out for something to replace my venerable ford ranger pickup with cap. I had 3 criteriums. It had to be economical, it had to have easy entry and exit and...it HAD to have the capacity to allow me to carry my road bike INSIDE. I went over these points with the sales gal. She excused herself for a moment and when she reappeared she was wheeling 2 traditional frame city bikes (courtesy of two of the guys theyd hired to keep the vehicles shining) Lowering both the rear seats, she grabbed one bike and -handlebars first- guided it in to the Fits cargo area. Rear wheel first the second bike went in and she closed the hatch. ...Truth? I bought the car (well, a disco silver version..the mind boggling blue wasnt something I could live with)the next day. Know those 3 tall fridges you take up to the summer cottage? Pull the drivers side rear seat up and fold it back and you can carry one upright in this vehicle! The manual for me is a nice touch. ..I love manual gear boxes. That I was able to get cruise control (standard) with a manual was icing on the cake. The performance is decent enough (I had a 132hp 3600 pound ford truck ) and the fuel economy will put a smile on your face every fillup.

  • honda gouges customer for basic accessories - 2016 Honda Fit

Honda charges extra for what I consider basic accessories. Floor mats and cargo cover are extra $600!! try to get the dealer to include these items. my previous 3 hatchbacks purchases included carpeted floor mats and cargo cover. I assumed they ere included with the Honda fit! I was wrong and it cost me almost $600.

  • Honda Fit Is it really Fit? - 2016 Honda Fit

I read all the reviews and thought I would get one. The reviews on them seemed so good, but when I took it for a test drive the erratic noise level drove me nuts. the Fit has way too little noise padding in it . I have had an older Honda Civic that I cut and placed heavy rubber back carpeting over everything I could. I would think that would be a consideration if you buy this.

  • First time Honda Owner - 2016 Honda Fit

I purchased the 2016 Honda Fit when the front suspension needed replacing in my trusty 2003 Toyota RAV. I loved the RAV but couldnt justify the investment of an expensive repair. Budget-wise, it was not an opportune time for me to buy a new car so it was important to find an economical solution. The new RAVs were now too large for me so I needed to find something else. I wanted a car that got great ratings & reviews, good crash test scores, excellent gas mileage, has lots of cargo space & a low price tag. After researching thoroughly, the Honda Fit was the only vehicle that met all of my criteria.

  • Reliable - Every person car - 2016 Honda Fit

The Fit is fit for purpose! It lets my family have the space we need for pre-school and kindergarten. Love the room in the back seat for my family and the price point. I didnt want a mini-van, and didnt want a midsize vehicle (in he outside). I am a hatchback fan and love the visibility that the this car has. Only drawback so far is the lane change on the central display isnt that helpful for me, and I rely on the mirrors instead.

  • 2016 Honda Fit EX - 2016 Honda Fit

My review to the 2016 Honda Fit EX will be in comparison to the 2009 Subaru we own, and other vehicles weve had. We purchased the Honda Fit EX three weeks ago and overall we cannot say enough to how pleased we are with it. Weve been averaging a combined 38MPG, with highway driving right around 42MPG. The ride is ust a bit firmer compared to the Subaru, but definitely not objectionable. The seats are very comfortable (Far more comfortable than the Subaru), and the interior quality is very good. The road noise is surprisingly quieter compared to the Subaru, and the wind noise is virtually undetectable even at highway speeds of up to 65mph (great job Honda). Weve been very pleased with the interior trim and build quality. The electronics/entertainment is very satisfactory. Exterior visibility is comparable to other vehicles, with an advantage to rear visibility when looking back and to the right in order to switch lanes (never rely on electronics or mirror). The back up camera and lane watch camera are definitely nice features to have and it takes a bit of adaptation to become accustom to them, but not a requirement because of the nice large side mirrors and rear visibility. Acceleration is more than adequate for rapid acceleration onto highways, and weve not been disappointed at all. Over all, were so pleased by the performance of the Honda Fit EX that were selling our Subaru in order to purchase another Honda Fit EX. Minor Cons: The intermittent wipers have no variable setting (it is what it is and you cant adjust it, but its adequate). The long distance illumination is very good with high beams, however, because the fog lights and low beam lights turn off, it causes the immediate road surfaces to become rather dimly lit. Im planning on easily fixing this issue by adding an additional set of LED driving lights to come on only when the high beam lights are on. (Low beam illumination is excellent) The audio system is very good quality, but it lacks a little on the low end bass. (Not bad, just not quite enough bass). Engine noise does become apparent when accelerating hard, but not much more than other cars do. Furthermore, once up to speed, the engine noise is not at all any worse than other cars. Major Cons: Absolutely nothing so far. Additional notes to be aware of if youre in the market. The "2015" Honda Fit models were made in Mexico and had a series of quality issues due to an inexperienced work force. However, the "2016" Honda Fit models are now made in Japan, and the build quality is noticeably better than any other locations. If youre in the market for a Honda or already own one, look at the first digit of the VIN# to know where it was made. 1 = USA 2 = Canada 3 = Mexico J = Japan
