Model Overview:

Sold from 2003-'11, the Honda Element compact crossover SUV remains one of the most distinctive and practical vehicles on the road. Happy Element owners are often city dwellers who appreciate both its small size and generous 75-cubic-foot maximum cargo capacity. Another notable element about the Element is the ability of its access-style rear doors to pivot backward a full 90 degrees, providing unimpeded access to the roomy and creatively configurable rear seats.

A used Element of any vintage is easy to recommend thanks to its functional interior, smooth four-cylinder engine and carlike handling, not to mention Honda's reputation for reliability. That said, it's worthwhile to focus your search on 2007 and newer models, as they offer a bit more power and enhanced safety features.

  • Fits our lifestyle - 2005 Honda Element

We take our new Element everywhere. We load our snowboards under the seats to go up to Big Bear. We put our surfboard inside to head to the beach. We just got back from the High Sierras and head to the desert as well. We are very active and the Element keeps up. Easy to wash down the interior of sand, slush and mud. Great sound system for the road. Downside is a louder than normal ride and lower than wanted fuel economy. I would have allowed for two more feet of storage in back. Oh yeah, the seats fold into a great bed with a sdylight in the back. We go to the drive in and lay in the bed. Love the Element and cant imagine a more perfect vehicle for our lifestyle.

This is a tremendous vehicle. I couldnt believe how roomy it is inside. I also own a Toyota Sequoia and the Element feels roomier inside! I love how functional it is for my kids. I dont care what they spill or what mess they make. Its great for camping and the four wheel drive system is excellent for the snowy winters. This is the most functional vehicles on the market. Everybody stops me and wants to know what it is and wants to look inside. This is a very cool vehicle.

looked at sport tracs and jeep cherokee but with same equip and stuff this was 10000 cheaper. Even without doscount financing the payments are way lower than the 28000 dollar stuff. They will discount them. Suggest you split the markup with them. I got mine from carlos paulino at coggin. He did everything he promised. Car was immaculate when I picked it up sight unseen, Drove one locally but they would not deal. Live it so far. A little more road noise thab I am used to but what an attention getter. Do not look at and drive one unless you plan on buying it, cause you will buy it on the spot if you do.

Purchased my EX last Friday. Left dealership for 800 mile 5 day roadtrip to Panama City.Boy was it great drive.Killed tons of bugs(and a quail) with the blunt nose and windshield.Traded 03 Tahoe for the Element.Had grown tired of Tahoes bulk and cost to operate.A bit afraid of being disappointed after being in the huge and handsome Tahoe. Man was I surprised. Awesome room, versatility, utility, ride, comfort, handling and operating cost-and I love its unique look.Reminds me of combination Jeep, older Trooper, Hummer and Mini- cooper.I think its a classic.Have not been disappointed-am thrilled with the Element.

I love this car, it suits my life style very well. I can drive it to a Gala event or to the mountains and it fits in no matter what the outting calls for! My family loves the versatility of it and my little Pug loves all the windows. I cant even tell you how many people have stopped and ask me if they could look in it! They seem puzzle by it :-) If I was working for Hondas marketing department I could have made a few dollars! :-)

I was in the market for a work vehicle, the Honda Element&the Nissan Ex- terra were my two choices. After test driving each manual transmission vehicles my choice was clear. I had a trailer hitch installed last week, will be hauling two Harley Davidson motorcycles soon behind the Element.

Believe it or not Im having so much fun driving this vehicle I put 800 miles on it in the first week of ownership! It is so versatile and has met every expectation. My husband and I have purchased Honda vehicles in the past for our daughters; but this is the first one we have owned for ourselves and we are enjoying it!!

  • Just what I needed! - 2004 Honda Element

I just bought my Element and love it, it is sollid inside and out. The interior space is great and the exterior is very unique. It handles well and 160 hp engine is up to the task. Element, where were you four years ago, when I bought my last car?

  • NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS!!! - 2003 Honda Element

I have been looking at the Elements for a few days now and I have liked every part of it so far. The only problem I can really argue over is that the outside is alittle ugly at first, but it grew on me in less than five minutes. The price is very reasonable and not needing a tuneup before 110,000miles is a plus.
