Overview & Reviews
The 2004 Honda Element lineup gets an LX model to slot between the existing DX and EX models. New equipment on EX models includes keyless entry, a passenger-seat armrest as standard, and bungee-cord fasteners on the driver-side front and rear seat backs.
- Impressively versatile interior, optional all-wheel drive, smooth four-cylinder engine, styled as if out of a Japanese animation movie.
- Only seats four, clamshell doors hinder entry/exit for rear-seat passengers.

HONDA ELEMENT EX - 2004 Honda Element
By SONYA P. - December 21 - 2:00 amI LOVE THE TRUCK, THE ONLY THING I WOULD CHANGE IS THE BACKDOORS. I WOULD PREFER THAT THEY OPEN WITHOUT HAVING TO OPEN THE DRIVERS DOOR.

Loving My Box! - 2004 Honda Element
By Big Guy - December 20 - 1:26 pmI have been watching this vehicle since it was introduced. I absolutely love it. I am big guy 61" 300+ and find it difficult to feel comfortable in most cars-even bigger ones! So I was sold on it the first time I sat in it. Plus, it is different not the norm - and I like that too. This is a combination vehicle. Its a little bit of a little van, pickup truck, off- roader & station wagon. Since I keep my vehicles until the wheels fall off, I am expecting on having this one for a long, long time!

Now in my Element - 2004 Honda Element
By rk in tampa bay - November 29 - 2:51 pmI love this vehicle. Just retired my 03 Aztek with 170k & wanted something just as unique with better reliability. Would have preferred the manual shift, but so far the automatic is fine. Lovin it.

GREAT VALUE - 2004 Honda Element
By JELLYFILLED - November 4 - 10:00 amPURCHASED THE ELEMENT BECAUSE MY WIFE WOULDNT DRIVE A MINIVAN AND WAS EXPECTING OUR FIRST CHILD IN JULY. CARGO SPACE AND AWD WAS A PLUS. ALSO LIKE THE FACT THAT A CHILD WAS UNABLE TO OPEN DOOR OR WINDOW FROM REAR SEAT.

FUN (THING) - 2004 Honda Element
By AC242 - October 29 - 10:00 amI BOUGHT THE VEHICAL OUT OF PURE CURIOSITY. AFTER OWNING IT FOR A MONTH OR SO, I DECIDED TO BUY A PERSONAL WATERCRAFT. NOT KNOWING IF THE ELEMENT COULD TOW IT OR NOT I FIGURED I WOULD GIVE IT A TRY. AFTER MY FIRST LAKE TRIP I WAS CONVINCED I HAD PURCHASED ONE OF THE COOLEST DAMN THINGS EVER. IT TOWS GREAT! THEN I GOT TO CAMP IN IT AND REALLY ENJOYED STAYING INSIDE RATHER THAN OUT! ITS LIKE A MINI-MOBLE HOME! THE BEST PART WAS, I HAD TO PULL OUT A 04 DODGE RAM THAT WAS STUCK. FUNNY B/C I JUST TRADED THAT TRUCK OFF FOR MY "E". AMEN FOR AWD!

Wouldnt drive anything else - 2004 Honda Element
By trogge13 - October 23 - 10:00 amThis is, for the money, the greatest thing on the road today. Its fun to drive (drives like a Honda). It holds a whole lot of stuff. Its easy to take care of(clean, etc.). I couldnt imagine a more practical vehicle. Yeah people may give you a hard time for driving one, but thats all part of the fun in being an owner of an Element.

Elementary - 2004 Honda Element
By bikejock1 - October 23 - 10:00 amThis is far and away the best car Ive ever owned. With a roof rack and a little imagination this can be your modular assault vehicle. Plenty of room for bikes, snowboards, skis, even pulls a trailer great. Just got back from a 3 week 4200 mile road trip, through the mountains, snow, rain, baking deserts the Element took it all and came back for more. Mileage varied depending on terrain but it kicked butt the whole way. Id buy another one in a minute. Adding a K&N airfilter improves power and mileage...a must have.
