Overview & Reviews
Sold from 2003-'11, the Honda Element compact crossover SUV remains one of the most distinctive and practical vehicles on the road. Happy Element owners are often city dwellers who appreciate both its small size and generous 75-cubic-foot maximum cargo capacity. Another notable element about the Element is the ability of its access-style rear doors to pivot backward a full 90 degrees, providing unimpeded access to the roomy and creatively configurable rear seats.
A used Element of any vintage is easy to recommend thanks to its functional interior, smooth four-cylinder engine and carlike handling, not to mention Honda's reputation for reliability. That said, it's worthwhile to focus your search on 2007 and newer models, as they offer a bit more power and enhanced safety features.

Great Choice. Great Value - 2006 Honda Element
By VegasRobb - July 11 - 10:54 amI decided to test drive the Element on the advice of an Element owner I met at the local Mini Cooper dealership. I liked the look of the Element. I remember reading a review that the Element was a combination of a "Mini Cooper and a Hummer". I cant say theyre wrong. From the moment I sat down for my test drive, the Element just felt right. The car has been wonderful. I enjoy driving again and my friends say that Im always smiling when they see me driving around town. For the price, the Element comes with quite a bit in terms of built-in features and provides a good amount of value. Make you sure want the EX *or* the EX-P look. I like the uniform color over black fenders.

Natalie is in her Element - 2004 Honda Element
By Ed - July 7 - 1:46 pmOutstanding car in nearly every way. Greatest car-camper weve ever had. Seat belt retractor needs help so it doesns stick in door. Dealer network leaves something to be desired for aftermarket additions.

Best ever dog crate! - 2005 Honda Element
By kmagman - July 7 - 9:56 amI really LOVE this Element. I have 3 Australian Shepherds who travel everywhere with me and I can fit 3 dogs crates in the back with no problem. Cleaning the interior is easy. The Element handles well, handles mountain grades with ease and has reasonable fuel economy at 23-24 mpg. Great ski vehicle too!

Honda Element - 2003 Honda Element
By resumepro - July 6 - 7:42 amI love it. As a middle aged boater /fisherman/family man(2 kids) it gives me everything I need. My 16 year old is chomping at the bit to get it when she graduates high school. At the price I paid, it is unbeatable for value.

Cargo Khaki - 2005 Honda Element
By Paul Frichtl - July 5 - 1:10 pmIve had my "E" for a little more than a week and have put over 500 miles on it - and love it! I bought it as our crossover car and my daily driver. I drive in DC traffic and have found that having a 5 spd manual a plus - especially with four cylinder engine.

Switched to Honda - 2006 Honda Element
By mdavis - June 23 - 3:43 pmI just bought a new 2006 Honda Element EX-P after driving Ford trucks for years and like this vehicle very much. I mountain bike and hike for hobbies so it has been excellent for that. I like the XM satellite radio and the surprisingly roomy interior. The only slight drawback on it is the gas mileage in my opinion.

Very Cool! - 2006 Honda Element
By Rebecca D. - June 17 - 8:25 pmThis is the coolest car! It felt as though I had been driving it always from when I first got it. It takes a little time to get used to the passenger doors. Very quite, road noise wise. We compared the CR-V to this and this won in so many ways!
