The 2004 Honda Element lineup gets an LX model to slot between the existing DX and EX models. New equipment on EX models includes keyless entry, a passenger-seat armrest as standard, and bungee-cord fasteners on the driver-side front and rear seat backs.

• Impressively versatile interior, optional all-wheel drive, smooth four-cylinder engine, styled as if out of a Japanese animation movie.

• Only seats four, clamshell doors hinder entry/exit for rear-seat passengers.

  I can only say that this vehicle is very practical and fun. I have only owned it for a few days and find it very pleasant to drive. Get one, you will love it.

  Owned a Mercedes SUV and after 4 years I was tired of not being able to get anything in the back of the car. The flat floor of the Element is wonderful - you can get anything in! .. easy to clean and I love the back rear doors since it is like the old station wagons -- you can leave the top open if you have something extra long. For the price it is a great, fun car... and it is EASY TO KEEP CLEAN INSIDE.

  I am 66 and with two teens who are going to each be over 6 footers I was looking for a car to meet my "high" expectations - the Element was a godsend. As a fastidious car researcher and owner, I needed high quality (which meant Ford or foreign) respectable gas mileage, with lots of legroom front and rear, and I wanted it to be stylish and fun to drive. I got it all with this car and the price was fabulous (about $3800 off sticker on a 2004). I was so tired of seeing rounded car blobs or cookie cutter SUVs. This car has pizzazz!

  Speaking for myself and one of my children who are 6 tall. The room can not be beat! We went to every dealership in a hundred mile radious and the Element won out. It has taken us a little bit of time to get use to its looks on the outside but now that we own it we love it! The only thing that we wish was an option was a built in navigation system and DVD system built in.

  I am really impressed with this vehicle. Its fun to drive, its comfortable and its very functional. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that doesnt need to transport more than two or three people. Its wonderful.

  I bought the Element because I thought it would be versitile and serve many purposes in one vehicle. I couldnt have been more correct. I use it to do all kind of things. I use it to bring home supplies from home improvement stores. I transport my lawn mower in it. I Pick up small furniture in it. I even picked up a new dishwasher and it fit right in! I also clean it up and take it to Church and other outings. In the winter it goes right through the snow. I wouldnt trade it for any other vehicle.

  Fun To Drive - 2004 Honda Element

  Went from a Chevy Tahoe to an Element. At first my Husband would chatch me scooting around town and laugh. Now when he borrows it once in a while (he drives a F350 crew cab every day) he says how much fun it is to drive. He even chooses to drive it on the weekends for family trips. He says its causes of the great fuel milage but I think he just loves to dive it as much as I do.

  Wow! I am a senior now looking for an easy to take care of car. I found it in my element, my little "Hummer." Now I have to find a boat as easy to take care of.

  This is, by far, the best value vehicle on the market!! It is the most practical, economical, fun-to-drive vehicle built today and it turns heads wherever I go!! It not only gets good gas mileage and has tons of cargo room, but it has umpteen seating configurations and is easy on the wallet. Also, the quality of the workmanship, fit and finish, standard features make for an unbeatable deal for the price!!
