Love my Honda Element - 2005 Honda Element
By gidget 2 - January 30 - 5:36 pmI have been looking at them for 2 years. I have had and still have a Land Rover Discovery and love it. The honda element gets the same: LOVE IT. Better on gas than my 8 year old Discovery. I am 57 and I think they are marketing to the wrong group of people. With the price and mileage and the room, it is excellent.

Needs a hybrid 6 - 2005 Honda Element
By Needs a hybrid 6 - January 18 - 11:26 pmGreat design - the folding seat, the suicide doors. It already seems to appeal to eco-friendly types. Listen to the other reviews and give it a 6 cyl engine for more HP, but make it a hybrid for better gas mileage.

LOVE IT! - 2005 Honda Element
By Mike - January 17 - 12:40 pmGot my Element last Saturday and love it! Had a 98 Odyssey with 181k miles on it and decided the Element was the way to go. Lots of room - easy to drive - hadnt driven a stick in 30 years and after 1 week its almost like driving an automatic (and I live in Chicago). My only regret is that I didnt buy it sooner.

I love my "Ugly Truckling" - 2005 Honda Element
By Gary - December 18 - 5:56 pmThough utilitarian in concept, it offers all the comfort imaginable. The interior is huge and easily maintained. Its extremely economical. And it holds it own on the freeway. Only deficit is the low clearance. Its been years since I had so much FUN with a vehicle.

An All Purpose Vehicle - 2005 Honda Element
By Tom Fulton - November 23 - 11:56 amHandles like a Civic, turning radius shorter than my Accord, great for hauling stuff and if you have kids they will love it. Floors and seats are made for use - no carpet and you can hose it out. Drove it in the snow and ice and it tracks like a dream. Gas mileage is not great but Ive only had it 3 weeks.

BEST CAR EVER - 2005 Honda Element
By DESERT TRAVLER - November 13 - 9:33 amI am a baby boomer with on the go lifestyle; this car does it all, comfort very functional ez-driver great inside space. Good light use for off road. Gets the looks from others, makes a statement--last month used it like a truck hauling stone tools bricks sand. Ran like a champ even with load. Have also camped in it. Works well for a night or 2 enough room for all the gear and you can sleep in (but cramped) I have had cars that were twice the costs and they werent as good when comparing overall use. This car is a winner, and probably a classic in its own right, no disappointment here--

Practical AND Cool - 2005 Honda Element
By Lorri - October 11 - 11:03 amI live a couple miles off of a paved highway, so I average 4-6 mileas a day off the pavement. The Element handles the hills and bumps as well as a larger SUV, and the lower center of gravity makes it corner more like a sedan. It is surprzingly roomy inside. The seats are comfortable and spills wipe up like a breeze. The hatch doors make it easy to get larger objects inside. With the seats folded up to the sides, you can get a set of patio furniture inside easily. In addition to all of this, its just plain fun to drive! Pop out the removeable sunroof and open the windows and youre ready to enjoy the day! Drawbacks - not many, Its a well thought out and fun vehicle.
