The 2004 Honda Element lineup gets an LX model to slot between the existing DX and EX models. New equipment on EX models includes keyless entry, a passenger-seat armrest as standard, and bungee-cord fasteners on the driver-side front and rear seat backs.

• Impressively versatile interior, optional all-wheel drive, smooth four-cylinder engine, styled as if out of a Japanese animation movie.

• Only seats four, clamshell doors hinder entry/exit for rear-seat passengers.

  Solid car top to bottom. This vehicle does NOT leave friends and onlookers on the fence, they either LOVE the look or hate it.

  This Suv is perhaps the most thought out and versatile vehicle I have own. The engine is a little weak and excelleration is moderate. Fuel economy is average for Honda, but excellent when compared to other SUVs. The drive takes a while to get used to because of the long space between the driver and A-Pillar, but it drives very nice and responsive. The turning radius of the element is excellent, turns on a dime. Alot more interior room than anything in its class, especially for rear passengers. I do hear alot of road noise, mostly from the wind, because of the square non- aerodynamic shape.

  I have my Element for about 3 months and I love it. Very roomy, smooth drive, and I feel very protected inside.

  Great Car. Everyone that has small kids or goes to ourdoor activities a lot will love this car. It is waterproof, so if you ever have a bad spill in the car, just wash it down and watch the water drain out of the bottom of the car. Very easy to drive and a good turning radius.

  I wish I would of owned a Honda sooner. This is a great car/truck. Great looks, and its a Honda. What more do I need to say? Buy one, its worth the money.

  Have my Honda for one year. Happy with it so far. Great for travel and camping. Love the interior, build like a truck, lots of cargo space. Never worry about no place to sleep.

  After many months of research I finally purchased a 2004 Honda Element Ex. What a fun and functional SUV!! I love the versatility,and the sound system is AWESOME! LOVE the subwoofer!! I have a teen ager, and she and her friends think the Element is "The COOLEST car EVER!!!

  Yes, you may get the occasional stare from other cars, but regardless of its appearance, its a great car (of course it is a honda). It rides well, not to bad on gas, and the inside is pretty cool. My only complaint is there is no vanity mirror on the drivers side.

  We bought this vehicle because my son had liked it. Now that we own it, we love it! We havent had it long enough to determine service and reliability but we love it after driving it.
